Wern Isaf is a camping and caravanning site on a working farm close to the town of Llangollen. The slightly sloping site has good washing and showering facilities though these can become stretched if there is a large camping group like the scouts on camp or when the weather is bad. Nightly rates are very reasonable and the site has a large open area in it for games to be played. The town of Llangollen is less than a mile away down the hill and if you walk or cycle down be prepared for a slightly more strenuous trip back up it. I booked the Easter Weekend over the telephone on 30th January 2008, I was asked to send a disposit by cheque. I sent a cheque that day for the full amount for the holiday & sent the lady an Email to ask if she would inform me when the cheque arrived. I never received an email so I telephoned no less than 8 occasions & nobody answered the phone. I left several messages and still I have no reply...... Terrible service!!!!!!!!!
