Wern Isaf is a camping and caravanning site on a working farm close to the town of Llangollen. The slightly sloping site has good washing and showering facilities though these can become stretched if there is a large camping group like the scouts on camp or when the weather is bad. Nightly rates are very reasonable and the site has a large open area in it for games to be played.

The town of Llangollen is less than a mile away down the hill and if you walk or cycle down be prepared for a slightly more strenuous trip back up it. There is no shop on site so you will need to bring all your groceries with you. Llangollen has many attractions with a model railway museum in a former factory with a Dr Who museum sharing the same building. There is a steam railway which departs from the town centre and has a picturesque route into the valley for about 4 miles and back again. The town also has some interesting curio and book shops and an abundance of cafes.
Wern Isaf provides a useful point from which to tour the beautiful Snowdonia area. The site is well kept and the owners are very friendly. It is an idyllic quiet spot to spend a few days break.
