Looking through the Avon Christmas Campaign and the reduced sale campaign I was searching for stocking fillers for my daughter and step son (age 7 and 5). I saw this in the sale brochure (priced at £4) and thought it was a perfect little filler and gift from the man himself! (Santa).

Although designed as a garden game it is still a game you can enjoy in the house and my initial thoughts were that it was something different to what they already have.

When i received the product I was slightly disappointed that it was packaged in a plastic bag which wasn't re-sealable, it was however easy enough to find a nice box to keep it in from a local shop. The mat is a large wipe clean plastic and lightweight, it will need something to hole down the corners if playing outside as the wind will just grab it, we were also unable to get rid of the fold marks which, at certain points of the game made your pieces slide. the game pieces and the dice where a nice large size we definatly 'shant be losing this dice!

When the children opened this present they wanted to play straight away, the brightly coloured 'home' corners made it appealing to both of them and was easy enough for them to choose which colour they wanted to be, may not be such an easy decision for same sex siblings/friends/players. The children enjoyed playing the game and it kept them happy for a full game with no arguments.

In all this was a great buy and look forward to summer days when we can play it outside.
