~Bubble magic~
************
These little tubs of bubble mix are cheap to buy and can provide a good deal of fun for children from the age of 3 onwards. I have found that the product containers are small enough for a young child to hold with a little help from mum and dad if needed, so as to prevent spills etc, but can be used by older children on their own. The bubble wand is slim and shaped so as to try to help maximize the bubble making possibilities that you have when using the bubble mixture. The cost of one of these small bubble tubs when I last bought one was just under 40p as I recall and was found in a small independent store. I feel that the price paid was ok, as it wasn't too expensive to buy a pot of this mixture at all. The display pack that held the bubble mix in store was very bright and attractive which is what led us towards our purchase as it caught the eye. I thought that the product container which came in a mix of bright red, orange, blue, green and pink options with a cute looking bunny on the wrap around label was very appealing to children and stood out well.
~Using the product~
****************
The bubble tub had a simple screw type top with seal that required a little help from an adult to gain access to in the first instance and this seemed to open and close well enough once in the hands of an older child. I feel that younger children may need a hand with making sure the bubble mix container lid has been securely closed down after use, so as not to leak any used bubble mix. The lid of the bubble tub has the bubble wand set in to the inside of it which is very common with these types of products and this is 100% where I hoped and expected it would be, as the lid then makes a very easy to handle holder for the wand when it is in use. The bubble wand is a little flimsy which is something that can be the case with these types of products as they are generally thought of as being a one use product even though they can be refilled.
Making bubbles with the mix is easy enough as you simply dip the wand in to the mixture, pull it out when loaded with bubble mix and then blow through the bubble wand. One thing that can and does tend to happen from time to time is a few drips of bubble mix that end up on childrens clothing, furniture or the floor when this is in use. I feel that this is common with children using these types of mix, meaning that this was to be expected. I found that the bubble mix doesn't stain clothing in a permanent way if some of the mix has accidently dripped down on to it and washes out completely. In use I also found that when a bubble is created and then pops, there doesn't seem to a lot (if any) mess left from bubble liquid used to make the popped bubble. The thickness of the bubble mix was as I recall a little watery and reminded me of washing up liquid although the smell of the mixture wasn't too strong on the nose at all. The mix made an array of bubbles when used, some of which were better and longer lasting than others and great fun was had making bubbles of all sizes with the mixture. The bubble making ability of the mixture was similar to that of many other cheap to buy mixes I have bought in the past, with the mixture making a nice amount of bubbles over a period of around 20 minutes.

The bubble mix is meant to be non toxic which I feel is something worth checking out before buying such products as their intended use is for children. These small bubble tubs hold 60ml of bubble mix which in my opinion can provide enough fun for at least 20 minutes to half an hour of play time if used with care and not spilt. I found that these bubble mix tubs worked well enough and were great fun for children of a variety of ages to play around with and when comparing the product to other similar bubble making mixes I have bought in the past, I feel this one was fairly good value. My rating for this product is 4 stars as the mixture and container worked well enough and the price paid was reasonable.
