I bought this little paddling pool for Jayden to have around my parents house, he goes around there while I work and I thought it would be nice for him to have a paddling pool round there as well as at home.
The Chad Valley 3 Ring Pool comes folded inside a sturdy cardboard box, both the front and back of the box displays a picture of the pool in use, the box also informs the customer that this paddling pool is for children aged 3 years plus and once inflated measures 102cm's x 25cm's, it also states that there is a repair patch included in the box.
The paddling pool as the name suggests has 3 yellow rings which make up the sides of the pool, these each have a little safety valve and inflate independently of each other, it doesn't take too long to blow the paddling up although a foot pump would have been better. The bottom of the pool is plain white and has a little plastic plug in it to make emptying the pool easier.
The Chad Valley 3 Ring Pool is made from the usual plastic that most pools are made from and although it was cheap once blown up it feels quite tough and sturdy. The side of the pool has a list of warnings printed on it with the main one being don't leave children unattended in the pool.
I'm not sure how much water this pool holds as Jayden had it quite shallow.
Price and Availability
We bought the Chad Valley 3 Ring Pool from our local Argos where we paid £3.99 for it back in June however Argos now these on sale for just £1.49 so a good time to buy for next year. Amazon UK also have this pool on sale for £11.84, I checked the sizes and its identical.
Since we have had the 3 Ring Pool it has had a lot of use, with the recent heat wave Jayden was in there most days. The pool isn't very deep and the sides are low enough for him to get in and out on his own. As stated on the box this paddling pool is for children over 3 years of age, Jayden is now 16 months old and is never left alone for a second when hes playing with the pool.
To be honest the pool is only really big enough for 1 person although both me and my mum have on occasion been in it with it Jayden ( not both of us at once!) but it was a bit of a squeeze.
I would definitely recommend this little 3 Ring Pool for a first pool or one to keep at grandparents houses, it doesn't even have to be used for water it would also make a good ball pit.
I know a couple of people who bought this when the weather was really hot for their dogs, once again its an ideal size and price for this.
If you are looking for a little shallow paddling pool for a toddler or pet then I would definitely recommend this one but shop around because prices vary a lot. Argos would be the best place especially now as its on sale.
