Advantages: Cheap and good quality
Disadvantages: None
My son is obsessed with all things from the cars movies and with them being from Disney (Pixar) there are literally hundreds of things from the inexpensive to the expensive branded with images from the films. You could easily spend hundreds of pounds buying toys that are associated with the films but there are some cheaper things to get as well such as this ball.
The ball only costs a couple of pounds and is good quality for the money. I bought it in my local factory shop but I have seen it in loads of different shops so it is widely available.
The ball has a massive picture of Lightening McQueen who is the main character from the films emblazoned on it and it is red so although it is probably aimed more at little boys there is nothing to stop little girls also playing with it.
The ball is lightweight and because it is blown up to capacity it is nice and bouncy. The air does deflate a little after a few weeks but nowhere near as bad as some balls I have bought have and it is still fine for using in the garden for a kick about and for throwing at the wall without damaging anything.
Because it is so lightweight it is perfect for smaller kids who might have some trouble with using a heavier ball.
It is designed to be an outdoor ball and leaving it out in all weathers should cause it no harm. I left it in the garden all winter and it was fine to use whenever we got a nice enough day to spend some time in the garden. The only harm that has come to it is minor and that is that the colour has faded ever so slightly from the ball.
For a couple of pounds I think this ball is a great kid's toy. It is cheap and has given my son hours of enjoyment. He has probably used this cheap ball more than some of his much more expensive toys combined and he often uses it even if it is only for a few minutes at a time.
