ELC 100 Coloured Playballs
Advantages: great and versatile
Disadvantages: they go everywhere
I have been shopping around for my little nephew as it was his birthday a few weeks ago, he has so many clothes and trains it is hard to try and find something that he would like. As summer was fast approaching I decided to look into some things that went into the garden to allow him to spend hours of fun outside without getting bored. The biggest problem I found was that this meant either spending an absolute fortune or he was a little too young for the items.
This is when I was shopping around the Early Learning Centre for some options and I opted to get him a lot of smaller items so he had a wider variety to choose from. One of the presents that I opted for was 100 coloured play balls as I know that my sister had recently purchased a small paddling pool for the summer after the hot spell that we had, but due to the hose pipe ban I could not see this being used, so I thought what a great way to make the most out of it.
This bag of coloured balls are great for boys or girls as they come in red, yellow, blue and green, they also come in a mesh bag so that when they are not being used they can be put back into the mesh bag until they are used again.
The coloured plastic balls can be used outside or inside, which is brilliant as you are never guaranteed the weather in the UK so it is nice to know that they can be used no matter what the weather.
The plastic balls are safe for children over 9 months and upwards and there are ball ponds especially designed to house these balls for the child to play with at the early learning centre, but if you already have somewhere to use them this is far more cost effective. Especially as you need have somewhere to store this when they are not being used.
These 100 balls cost £10, which I thought was great value, but they are also on offer at the moment, as the Early Learning Centre are offering three for two on all sports and gardening toys so I decided to make the most of this great offer and get the cheapest item free.
These balls are fantastic he has been using them now for a few weeks and they are versatile and he has great fun playing in them. He likes sitting in them and at the same time we hide some of his toys amongst the balls and we then have fun trying to find them, obviously while moving the balls are flying everywhere.
The only downside is that due to the poor weather we have had we had set the ball pond up in the front room, but after a few days the balls were everywhere and it seemed that all we did was pick them up and move them from behind sofas and under the tables. With the garden being so much bigger they will be far more practical to use outside in a bigger area.
Overall these are great and my nephew has hours of fun playing in them he also likes playing at rolling a few balls around the floor and as they are plastic there are no fears of him throwing them inside the house and accidentally breaking something. They are well worth the price tag and they are also available in other colours if blue, red, green and yellow are not practical.
Summary: great fun for kids
