ELC Armbands - Pink
Advantages: Pretty, durable, cheap
From my daughter being about 3 months old, I have tries to take her swimming on a regular basis. When she was very young, we had a Konfidence Swimsuit but as she grew out of this, I decided to buy her some armbands.
I spotted these online at Early Learning Centre and it was currently on their buy 2 get one free promotion for outdoor toys so it gave me an excuse to buy a couple of other items too!
The armbands look really pretty, they are a really deep pink colour with pictures of fish and seahorses on, the inner part of the armband is a paler pink colour.
The armbands are also available in red, and they have dolphins and shells on.
They are suitable from 12months, Lauren started wearing hers from around 9months old and they fitted nicely on her arms, 4 years later and the armbands still fit her.
Both products retail for £6 and are available at Mothercare, Early Learning Centre, online and in store, I have also noticed recently, Amazon selling ELC products and they also have the same promotions running (but they seem to have free delivery!)
Inflating the armbands was a little tricky at first, you have to bite the valve slightly as you blow (this opens the 'airway' up). The valve will not let air escape (again unless you bit it slightly) so you haven't got to worry about them deflating. The whole valve can then be pushed into the armband so as they aren't rubbing on her or she cannot catch them.
I am really impressed with the overall quality of these armbands, they have lasted 4 years and still going strong!
Being able to swim is such a necessity that I would have paid a lot more for the product so I think £6 is an absolute bargain!
5 out of 5 stars from me!
