Recently The Early Learning Centre was running a three for two promotion on outdoor garden toys so we managed to get quite a few things for summer for my little girl and boy. One of the items we got her was this lawn mower. My little girl has a fascination about pushing things around, she loved her walkers when she was younger and now she has a little pushchair that she loves pushing her dollies around in but we thought this would be great for in the garden and also she can copy Daddy with his lawn mower too which is also one of her favourite things to do at the moment too.
In fact this mower looks a lot like the petrol mower that we have for our garden. It has the lower, big flat base and the handle all the way across that comes up from the base of the lawn mower. You can get this toy in either punk or blue and stereotypically we got the pink version for my little girl although they are both the same, just a different colour.
This lawn mover is light pink on the main body and the handle and then the motor unit and the wheels are a darker shade of pink. What I really like about this lawn mower is that it is has grass in it which actually whirrs around when you push the mower. It's not real grass, it's fake grass obviously but it is a really nice touch and design feature and it makes my little girl laugh when she sees it whizzing around and she thinks she is actually cutting the grass just like Daddy which is really cute.
The mower is made of quite a light weight plastic so it's easy for my little girl to push and she also finds it quite easy to lift it up too and move it if it gets stuck on something. The handle on this lawn mower actually moves and you can put it down so it makes it a bit easier to store and put away when it's not in use. We keep ours in the garage just like our proper mower and get it out when we go in the garden.
The mower costs £14 on its own but less if you can purchase it as part of a deal and is a fun garden toy I recommend.
