      Lots a fun outdoors

The set consists of 12 mats, each mat measures around 62x62cm and is around 1.5cm thick so they cover quite a large area and the thickness means that they are really soft under your feet. There are four different coloured mats within the set, you get an even mixture of red, blue, green and orange mats, the colours are really bright and despite being left out overnight and sometimes stored in our conservatory, they have kept their colour really well and haven't faded.

the mats comes in their own little storage bag too so when not in use, these can be packed away nicely, the bag has a little handle on the top making them really easy to carry, we have a smaller pack of these at our caravan and sometimes we will take them on the beach with us so that we an sit on these rather than a beach towel.

One of the main reasons we purchased these was that Lauren started going to gymnastics lessons last year and whenever we went out onto the garden, she liked to practice her moves, I wanted to give her some extra protection just in case she did fall or land funny. We have also used them to play hopscotch, or we even make up our own games where we scatter them around the garden and shout "first one to stand on a blue mat", or we have even played musical chairs (but with the mats instead).

Another reason we purchased was to provide a bit of extra protection around and under Laurens paddling pool, our back garden is on a slope which wasn't such an issue when we had a small pool but now we have a larger one, we just cannot fill it. Now I set all the mats out and sit the paddling pool in the middle, it gives Lauren extra padding under her feet but also gives me that piece of mind if she was to fall, at least these would break it for her.

The tiles interlock together which I really like as it means I do not have to adjust them when we are playing on them, once they are interlocked; they have to be twisted and lifted the split which is really good. I like to encourage Lauren to interlock them when we are using them as I believe it helps her motor skills.

The mats can also be connected sideways; we also like to make cubes or shapes with them, creating tunnels to crawl through or little houses to play in.

I would give these 5 out of 5 stars.
