I have noticed that Dooyoo are called this Early Learning Centre (ELC) winnie the pooh umbrella however I bought this for my daughter from Amazon and they don't state it as ELC.
Like I say I bought this for my daughter for when we went away last year as although we were going away in August this being the UK I didn't expect to be guarenteed good weather so thought an umbrella would be a good idea so she wouldn't have to moan if we had to go out in the rain and trust me she would moan7. I had never let my daughter have an umbrella before this one as she is pretty clumsy and I could just see her ending up injuring someone with the umbrella.
I ordered this off Amazon and at the time it cost me £7.99 although it is now selling for £9, the reason I choose this umbrella was that although I could have got a character umbrella of her favourite peppa pig I felt that this one would last longer as I don't think you ever grow out of Winnie the pooh I know I haven't. The umbrella was also free delivery and still is so as far as character umbrellas go I don't think I paid a bad price.
The umbrella is bright red in colour and it has 8 sections each one seperated by a rod of thin metal underneath, one section at the back of the umbrella has white spots all over it which I think is supposed to be raindrops, the other sections are all plain red until you come around to the front of the umbrella where you have a lovely picture of Winnie the Pooh who is propping his face up on his paws, Winnie has a big smile on his face and his ears are made of seperate pieces of fabric and are attatched to the umbrella. The ears are a nice touch although they don't actually stand up very well when the umbrella is up but I think the umbrella is very cute and my daughter was very pleased with it when she saw it.
The umbrella is very easy to use and my daughter can open and close it herself although I do tend to do it for her as like I say she is clumsy. The umbrella is sized perfectly for a young child and it does keep her from getting wet although luckily we didn't have to use it on our holidays as we actually did get nice weather. The umbrella was starting to get a little grubby after a few usages but it was easy to wipe clean and came up like new again with a little washing up liquid.
My daughter manages to use this umbrella very well and she loves it, the handle is just the right size for her and the umbrella sits nicely above her head, my daughter is 4 but she is quite tall so I would say this is suitable for ages 4-7. I am impressed with the umbrella too as it is really good quality and holds it shape really well, I would recommend this for any little one.
Summary: A lovely umbrella
