      Very helpful

      Worth looking about for.

The recommended age for this toy is 3-6, but as usual we are using it much earlier. My son has just turned 2 and he loves this. He had another battery powered bike, a police bike, but it had to be replaced due to charger overheating and melting.

This bike is faster than most of the battery operated bikes, which my son really enjoys. Both of my sons have always wanted everything faster. It also has enough power to make it up hills and through grass, even with my 5 year old riding it. My 5 year old does enjoy this bike as well but he has petrol quads, so this isn't quite as interesting. Many of the older children also want to play with this, and it might do very well for up to age 8 or so, but I prefer to limit it to the younger ones.

Our bike is just like this one, but blue where this bike is silver. Our model also has a plastic box on the back, a bit like a lunch box. My son enjoys this as well as he can pack a snack, or just use it as a hiding place for chocolate in the house.

I have found this bike to have a very good balance and my boys have not managed to tip it, but of course this toy should be used with supervision and away from traffic. Even so, there is of course a chance a child will fall. My sons seem to have the balance of cats and we have not had a problem. But if using it with very young children extra caution may be a good idea.

The bike appears to be very sturdy and well made. It goes over bumps and even kerbs with no problems.I am very happy with it as my son just loves it, and would happily recommend this item. It is hard to find now but I have found it at Cheeesy Bug Toys for £119.99. I bought ours second hand for £50, and there are many second hand models available.
Do not buy this toy second hand without a charger though. Chargers for this are very expensive £35 - £40. Also consider the fact that a replacement battery will cost £15 -£20 and they do wear out with enough charges. I would check to be sure the bike is charged and there is plenty of power before buying. Because these chargers do run very hot, and after our experience with the injusa charger, we have decided not to charge this when we are sleeping or away so we can keep an eye on it, but that is just me.
