Glitter Bouncy Ball
Advantages: glittery, bouncy, large,
Disadvantages: Very heavy
I picked up this Glitter Bouncy Ball from my local Tesco store as they were reduced to just 25p and I knew my son would love it, even at £1 this is an excellent buy I think. There doesn't seem to be any branding for this ball as it came packaged simply in a plastic wrapper that had a safety label on it.
This bouncy ball is not the tiny sized ones it is around the size of tennis ball if not a little larger so is perfect for younger children. The ball is made from clear rubber and is filled with water with glitter flecks. There were many colours of the ball available, my son chose red which is not shiny as you wouold have imagined but are rather muted and dull. The red 'glitter' does seem to take over the ball when it is shaken or bounced.
This ball is very heavy and would be particularly painful if you were hit with it at speed. My son uses this ball purely for rolling around and watching the ball go from a clear ball to an almost red ball. He really enjoys it but I wouldn't let him bounce it around as it seems very heavy and could cause a lot of harm if it were to hit anyone or indeed anything.
Overall for the price I paid I am more than happy with it but you do have to be wary while bouncing it around as it could easily harm someone with the sheer weight of it.
Summary: A heavy bouncy ball filled with glitter!
