Father Christmas brought this for our little girl last christmas, she was two and a half and as our older two daughters have big girl scooters, she wanted one too. Of course when choosing the right scooter we had several things to take into account a) It had to be pink, b) she needed to be able to balance on it c) It had to be made 'for big girls only', this scooter ticked all the boxes.

My husband (ahem Father Christmas) managed to put this together quite easily on Christmas Eve and I didnt hear any shouts either so it must be pretty easy to assemble.

The scooter itself has cerise colour bars with pale pink handles and a pink plastic Hello Kitty picture which clicks onto the front. The board is very wide compared to other similar types of scooter and is a pink and white Hello Kitty theme.

We purchased this from Argos and paid £24.99, however I have since seen it on sale in the Home and Bargain store for around £15.00 but you have to be lucky and catch it in stock and it is also a slight variation on the one we have but does the job just the same.

The scooter has been left outside continuously since Christmas and has withstood the weather really well, the pictures and the colouring are now starting to fade slightly but as I say it has been left outside through the wind, rain, sun and even snow (who can forget the mayhem last christmas caused by the weather).

It is also very robust as when my daughter has finished scooting along she tends to just drop it on the floor and run to her next plaything so it has taken quite a beating over the last ten months and all the parts still work perfectly fine - no bits falling off and no damage caused either.

Overall a great sturdy scooter definitely work purchasing.
