Hello Kitty 3 Wheeler Scooter
Advantages: fun, good quality, Hope loves it
We bought this scooter for Hope about 2 years ago now and she plays on it regularly as does her little brother who now likes to try to join in with whatever she does. we had been looking for a scooter for a while and we just couldn't resist this one when we saw it as she adores Hello Kitty!
I forget the exact price we paid for it but it was about £25, I know that I didn't mind paying the price we did. We bought it from Tesco and there were others that were slightly cheaper but this one looked good quality and of course it had Hello Kitty on it! We chose this design too because it has 2 wheels at the back so it is more stable so a good scooter for a little one to have when they are first learning what to do with it. Hope was 2 and a half when we first bought this so it was ideal, now she is 4 and a half so is probably about the right age to start using a 2 wheel scooter. So seeing as she has used this for 2 years I think it's been good value for money.
It is very robust and good quality. The wheels are not small and wobbly, instead they are nice and wide which provides a good stable ride. They have lots of indents in them to help with grip too so this is the safest scooter you can get I think! The little platform for them to stand on is pink with little pale pink bows on and is a good width for your little one to stand. The others we looked at seemed so narrow I was worried Hope would lose her balance or slip off by mistake. This ons is that bit wider which makes it seem safer especially for those little ones who haven't had a scooter before.
To turn the scooter you turn the handle bars and this is easy to do, they aren't so lose that it becomes too fast and easy to turn but are not too stiff either so it's ideal. The handbars are white with Hello Kitty written on them in bright pink and the little handles themselves are bright pink. At the front of this is a clip on plastic hello kitty picture which is nice, however, Hope keeps snapping it off and it spends more time being off than on and it is a little pointless, I can't help but think a little basket would have been more efficient really!
Hope loves this. She mainly plays with it inside although of course it is really an outside toy. She likes to stand on it and push along the hallway whilst her little brother races her on his bike! It's very cute to watch. It is a really good height for her, I've never thought it was too big and I still don't think it is too small so it has lasted her a good while.
It's all plastic or metal so pretty easy to clean although there are grooves in the wheels and these can get dirty but they wash off with a hose pipe aimed at them!
We have had no problems with this, Hope loves it and it just seems like such good quality I cannot really complain at all!
Summary: great scooter
