Advantages: Lasts and lasts and lasts

Disadvantages: Too bulky to have indoors unless you have huge rooms

We were passed on one of these activity gyms and it was 10 years old at the time.

It had faded in the sun somewhat but that didn't seem to bother my 2 children who loved it and played on it regularly from about 2 years old to 5 years old. The slide was well used up until about the age of 4 when it became much more of a role play tool. It became a ship, a castle, a cave, a platform for many cars to "fly" from and many cuddly toys had picnics on/in/under it. They've lost interest in it more recently however claiming it's too babyish! After a few months of no use it found a new home in our local school reception playground where it's loved and well used once again :)

To buy them at £70 is money well spent as it'll clearly last many children. Having spent probably 15 years outside in all weathers ours is still as solid as a rock - rather beaten up looking now but still as sturdy as ever.

Summary: A bargain at the price
