My little brother got this as a birthday present last year and it has been a great source of entertainment for everyone. It is a metal and plastic pogo stick which has two pedals which go up and down on a spring, and two handles to hold onto. It is quite a simple concept - you stand on the two pedals and try to balance while jumping up and down on - however it is not that easy to actually do. It took me a few days to actually be able to move around on it well, and my little brother has only just managed to get the hang of it. It is definitely easier to do the bigger you are. It is best used on hard ground in order to get the maximum amount of bounce, as jumping on grass will not have the desired effect.

It is quite a heavy toy and definitely seems to be pretty strong. It has fallen heavily onto our patio many times and not had a scratch on it - I was more concerned for the patio. The box says that it will last for years and I definitely believe it. It is recommended for children over the age of 8 years, but is not solely for young children - it can be used by anyone who is not too big for it. I am 19 and still have great fun using it. It apparently will safely support people from 80 to 160 lbs, but I'm sure a few pounds either way won't make a huge difference. For younger children who are not that experienced with pogo sticks, I would recommend that they only use it under adult supervision or while wearing safety equipment, as falling from it onto hard ground can be quite painful.

The spring is very good, and I have managed to get a good couple of feet into the air, and the foot pads and handles are non-slip which make it relatively safe to jump around on. It is a really fun toy that can provide hours of entertainment. It is great for competing with friends to see who can stay on the longest or who can jump the highest. It can be purchased on Amazon for £39.50 which considering that it lasts for a very long time and does not get boring at all, I think is a very good price.
