My eldest daughter got a scooter for her birthday in June and since her younger sister kept trying to pinch it we thought she best have one for her birthday too. As she loves Minnie Mouse I knew that she would want one with her on and found this scooter, I bought it on Amazon for £24.99 but it is available at all good toy shops and even supermarkets.
The scooter came in a very brightly coloured cardboard box with as picture of the scooter on the front and the fact that the scooter is for ages 3 and up.
The scooter came with instructions but was really easy to put together and really self explanatory so the instructions weren't really needed. My husband opened the box and tried to wind me up saying it would take him ages but when I turned round 2 minutes later it was done.
We hid the scooter at the end of the sofas so that Emily would be distracted by her other presents first which she was, once she had finished I directed her to look at the end of the sofa and she was thrilled and straight away started scooting around the front room on it.
The scooter is really hardwearing and brightly coloured, it has lilac foam around the handlebars to make it comfortable to use and has a wide base for little ones to be able to balance., The scooter is a 3 wheeled scooter so that it is easy for younger children to manipulate which is ideal as Emily couldn't manage her older sisters 2 wheeled scooter.
The scooter has plenty of little details on it such as little flowers on the ends of the handlebars and all up the main strut of the scooter, there is a little picture at the front and then a full picture of Minnie and Daisy on the foot plate. The footplate is ridged so gives more grip for your little one.
Emily loves her scooter and she finds it really easy to use, she is pretty tall for the 3 year old and this scooter is an ideal size for her, when she leans on the scooter it directs it gently where she wants to go which is great as she doesn't need as much coordination to move it as you would a normal scooter. The scooter is really bright and hardwearing, when she leaves her scooter she just lets go so sometimes it drops to the floor as she hasn't realised that she has to balance it before letting go but there is no damage.
This gets 5 stars from our household she loves her scooter and keeps trying to bring it inside so she can play when it's wet too.
