Advantages: Fun and cheap

Disadvantages: You have to be careful not to get it wet

We have loads of different toys and games that the kids and I can play together when the weather is decent enough for us to spend an afternoon outside.
This catch set from Mookie was something we bought to take on holiday with us as we thought it might be fun to play with at the beach and I thought it might help distract the kids while I caught up on some reading.

It was also really cheap and only cost me £3.99 for the set. The set consists of two disks and a ball so it isn't exactly complicated to know what to do with it. The idea is that you throw the ball to each other and try and catch it with the disk.

The disks and ball have fabric which stick to each other and they do a pretty good job of actually sticking together. One of my pet hates is toys that are supposed to stick but don't. With this catch set you can actually grab the ball out the air and be guaranteed it will stick and not just slide to the ground.

One thing to be careful of though is with getting it wet. We took it to the beach but made sure to stay well away from the water with it as these fabrics become pretty much useless when they become wet and the ball won't stick to the disks anymore.

I would highly recommend this catch set to people. Mookie is a good brand and the game gives hours of fun for both kids and adults alike and actually encourages you to get up and run about. It isn't the most high tech game but it is most definitely fun to play.

Summary: A fun and cheap game for kids and adults alike
