==Overview==

Mookie catchball is a childhood favourite of mine, so much so, I ended up purchasing one for my friend's child as a birthday present. As you can see in the picture, you get a tennis ball and two plate-sized "bats" covered on one side with velcro. The size is bigger than a side plated but smaller than a dinner plate if that helps! The pink and green that you see is hard/rough velcro, the tennis ball is the soft velcro. On the opposite side of the bats is a loop of velcro that you adjust to fit around your hand.

==How to play==

Two people can play this game, each person has a bat. They attach it to their hand firmly with the loop of velcro on the back. One person throws the tennis ball and the opponent tries to catch the tennis ball on the bat. The tennis ball will stick to the bat as they make up the velcro connection to each other. The opponent takes the tennis ball off the bat and throws it back to the opponent. It's like velcro tennis in a way.

== What I like ==

I particularly like this game because there is no hitting or batting of balls involved. For people who have small gardens with little space to play in, this is ideal as the only "dangerous" bit is throwing the tennis ball which won't have as much impact as it being hit with a tennis racquet if it hit a window for example. You couldn't play tennis in a small back garden but you can play this easily.

== What I don't like ==

With an adult hand, it is quite easy for the straps to stay on but I find that small people's hands can slip out easily which can be quite frustrating when playing a game. I will only give the game four stars based on that.

==Overall==

This is a fun game for adults and children alike with minimum chance of windows getting smashed compared to other bat/ball games. For the price (less than £5 on Amazon) it is definitely a great little game to play. Also a great value game and a good little birthday or Christmas present.
