I bought the scuttle bug for my son when he was ten months old, and he was a little small for it. He has been able to play on it since he was twelve months old, and he is average size. Due to the size if I had tried him on it now (aged nineteen months) I don't think I would have bought it for him as I don't think he would have been able to play with it for very long.

The scuttle bug is built very well, and can be used indoors and outdoors. Due to the way it can be folded, it is easy to store which is a great plus. The design also makes it easy to carry, I have taken it camping, and it came everywhere with us in the summer. The shape of the seat means that it is easy for him to climb on and off himself, which is very important as he is quite independent. The handle bars are easy to steer and the wheels move very well.

My son absolutely loves his scuttle bug and I feel it has helped with his development. he loves the fact that it has eyes on the front. I am sure he will have fun on it for a little longer yet, but will probably be too big for it by next summer.

Overall it provides great value for money providing you but it at the right time for your child.
