Recommended - my children spend hours in theirs

This tent is designed for use with the TP Explorer climbing frame, and fits over the central part to provide a raised den for your children. At around £50 it is not a cheap option, but it does give me hours of peace and quiet as my daughter loves it!

The first thing to note is that it is not easy to assemble. The frame has to be completely dismantled to fit the tent on, in itself a tricky job, best done with two people. However, once assembled it is sturdy and safe, and, importantly, waterproof. There is even a small hole in the centre of the floor to allow for rainwater to drain out instead of pooling in the tent.

The tent has two fabric panels that can be rolled up and Velcro'd in place to use as doors, and a plastic 'window'. The ladder and slide of the climbing fame can then be fitted in alignment with these doors, although that does leave you little choice with regards to the shape of the climbing fame.

The only downside that we have found is the fact that the base is not rigid, making teddy bears tea parties impossible. Apart from that small issue, I would happily recommend the TP tent.

For children 3 years and up
