Advantages: Amazing quality, value and product
Disadvantages: Expensive compared to similar models (but its worth it)
My parents purchased the Smart Trike from Toys R Us when Lauren was about 8 months old and started using it straight away.
The RRP is around £80, which I thought was quite steep however considering 3 years later, Lauren still uses it, I think this is a great buy and would recommend to everyone.
We had the brightly coloured pink one, however there is a green and blue one and a red version available.
She was initially too small to reach the pedals, but was quite happy just to sit in it and be pushed around. Lauren had a tendency to get bored quickly when in her pushchair however when she was in this, she could sit for a good couple of hours when we went shopping or for a long walk.
It has a sunshade which helped to keep her protected, a little shopping bag at the top and a basket at the back.
I initially found it a little tricky to manoeuvre, however my other half said it was me as he has no problems! After a couple of times of using it, I 'got the hang of it'.
Unlike some cheaper versions, as well as having a safety seatbelt, it also has an outer casing/safety bar which gave us that extra piece of mind knowing she couldn't fall out of it.
It was really easy to dismantle into about 3 different parts meaning it was easy to fit into the boot of the car, we tend to go away a lot in the summer so this was ideal.
We don't push Lauren around in it anymore as she is really independent, we have removed the handle and instead she loves to bomb up and down the garden in it.
The build quality is excellent, however ours is now 3 years old and apart from the wear and tear on the plastic wheels, you would not know it was this old. No faults or defects within this time.
The RRP is around £80, which I thought was quite steep however considering 3 years later, Lauren still uses it, I think this is a great and would recommend to everyone.
Summary: Recommend to everyone, great, great, great!
