=Tesco Bubble Machine==
Because of us moving it means we are coming across a lot of stuff that I haven't seen for a while which must mean that Jack has far to many toys in his bedroom. This Tesco bubble machine was one of the items that was at the bottom of his toy box and was something that I remember buying a couple of years ago from my local Tesco stores.
Having had a look on Tesco direct I can't see that they sell it any more but I seen to remember buying it for are £5 as it was on some sort of special offer at the time so maybe they were discontinuing it then.
Jack loved bubbles when he was younger and to be honest he hasn't grown out of this as he still enjoys playing with his smaller sets in the garden now. I think bubbles are one of those things you never grown out of because I still personally like to see a ton of bubbles floating around the air when in the garden as there is something quite therapeutic about it.
This bubble machine is not a small one like some of my friends children have as it is about 10 to 12 inches in length and really quite chunky. It has a very handy carry handle on the top of the unit which makes moving out in the garden easy especially when the bubble mixture is inside. You do need to have a fair few batteries in the machine as it need 6 of the AA variety which if I remember rightly it didn't come with but the batteries are still working now and these ones have been in there for a good while now.
The machine came with some of the ready made mixture and this lasted a few goes of the machine and we did make up our our solution once this had run out and this worked okay though not as well as the ready made stuff you can get.
The solution is poured into the machine by the large open front and this is easily done and doesn't create any real mess. The large dial on the top of the machine gets the motor going which will then turn the wheel of bubble wands inside and the second motor will blow out all the bubbles out into the air. The amount of bubbles created is pretty good and when a lot of the bubble mixture is the steam of bubbles is continuous.
Obviously because of the fact that it is battery operated it means that the machine can really be placed anywhere and the floor is the obvious place although I do feel that a chair which is slightly higher means the bubbles have a better flow in the air and are at a better height for jack to chase after them and try to pop them.
I am quite pleased that we found this item again and we took it down to Nana's house earlier today to get it up and running which Jack really loved and Harry the dog seemed rather happy chasing all the bubbles too! The only downside is that when there is only a small amount of the bubble solution left in the machine it tends to be rather sporadic in the production of the bubbles are it is not as flowing as when the machine is filled up. This is easily solved however by putting in more of the solution which is easily done!
All in all the machine was at a good price for what you get and seeing as we have had it for so long and it is still working and still working well it is obviously made to a good standard. Jack loves the machine and I would say that most children would and the machine is ideal for those summer days when the BBQ is going and you have a few friends around with their children as it surprisingly keeps them amused for a very long time!
I think nothing but a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a very high recommendation is well deserved. If you can pick it up then I would say it is well worth doing so!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
