      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Thanks for Reading :)

      A tend to baby sit my nephew a couple times a week, and during this time I take him along with me to do my weekly grocery shopping at my local Tesco Supermarket. I know taking my 3 year old nephew means passing the toy sections can be a little bit frustrating as he always wants a new toy! I tend to rush past it as much as possible, but from time to time I can't help but give in to him, its just so cute when he says 'toysssss' with so much excitement.

      Therefore I try and look for the cheapest options available, and it was during my look out that I noticed the Tesco bubbles, knowing how much my nephew loves bubbles I thought it was an ideal little gift that will satisfy his need for a new toy without spending too many pennies!.

      == Price ==

      One of the main reasons for opting for the Tesco bubbles (pack of 6) was the price, it was reduced from £1.50 to 99p which was even better as most toys (even really small ones) cost over £1.

      == Design & My Experience ==

      The bottles are chunky and fairly small sized (5 cm in height and 2 cm diameter) so it's easy for child to hold and use. The small sized bottles are each coloured in yellow, red, blue, and green, making it look bright and colourful which my nephew seemed to notice saying 'yellow' a few times and helped to hold his attention and interest until we got home to use them. The Tesco branded logo is clearly visible on the front as well as 'bubbles' printed just below.

      The bottles have a screw on and off lid that is fairly strong making it safe, as smaller children would not be able to unscrew the lid without adult help. My nephew who is aged 3 found it difficult to open and needed me to open it for him, which is in my opinion is great as the last thing I wanted was him spilling it all over the carpet.

      The bubble water is enclosed inside the bottle under a removable foil closing that secures the liquid from being spilled, however once the foil has been opened we did find that the liquid would tend to leak now and again when it was on its side, which was a bit annoying.

      Inside the bottle is a wand that rests securely just below the lid and has a circular hole at the end to enable the process of making bubbles. The wand is a good size, my nephew was able to hold it easily and was able to blow bubbles with ease.

      I was pleased to find that the liquid managed to make quite a lot of bubbles, actually more than I had expected, as with the price and it being a cheaper brand I thought it would only produce small amount of bubbles and run out quite quickly; I was however more than happy to be proven wrong. The liquid produced a number of small and some big bubbles, I found that blowing slowly into the hole helped create the bigger ones.

      The long lasting bubbles created hours of fun for my nephew, which was great as I could put my feet up for a bit after the shopping and just watch as he played happily blowing and popping the bubbles.

      == Conclusion ==

      Overall this Tesco bubble solution with wand is a great little bargain to have at hand whenever you need a bit of a rest and let children play without you needing to be their playing buddy. It also is great at keeping them occupied and happy, and all at a cheap price. It surprisingly makes a number of bubbles and one bottle can last a good week or so (my nephew loved it so much he would want to blow bubbles almost everyday!). Therefore I would happily recommend this Tesco bubble solution:)

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Nice little colourful pots of fun

        Item: Tesco Party Mini Bubbles
        Size: 29ml each pot
        Price:£1 for 6 (think they are usually £1.50 or ££1.60 though)
        Bought on: Tesco

        We bought these for little visitors to have a play with in our garden when we have BBQ's.

        Packaging:
        These bubbles come in little plastic pots and in each pack you get a variety of pink, yellow, green and blue which means each little person usually gets the colour they like, But not ideal if you wanted to do a themed colour in a party bag. They are 5.5cm high and 3cm wide. So are quite a good size for little hands to hold (but still not too small and fiddly if you are holing them in adult hands). The coloured pot has a paper wrapped round it which after a few mins gets crumpled/soggy and tears off so you might want to just tear that off before it gets all sticky. The lid has little grooves all down it so you can get a good grip on it even once your hands are wet. The tub is bright and the kids love them. I like the look of them too.

        I'm forever blowing bubbles...well not quite!
        The wand for the bubbles is 3cm long and once the lid is off the pot the bottle is 5cm deep so you cannot get the bottom 2cm of bubbles which causes a lot of tipping and swirling about of a half empty pot. This results in soapy liquid up tiny arms, all over the floor and a lot of blowing without any bubble making! Not great. HOWEVER when you first open the pot the first use of the bubbles is good quality. The liquid is a rich mix of watery bubble solution so you get a good amount of bubbles per puff. Around 60 bubbles per go (yes we did quickly try to count them haha) so you can get an impressive explosion of bubbles with just a few puffs.

        Overall these are a fun little treat for kids. It is a pity that the wand is so short but lots of fun is still had. 1 star off for wand length. 4 stars given for colourful pot, price and bubbliness!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Will provide lots of fun

        I don't know what it is about children and bubbles, but mix the two together and you always get very happy little people! Something I have noticed more so over the last few months, as every child that I know, and are friends with my children seem to be having birthdays and 9 out of 10 bubbles are involved in either party bags or at the parties themselves. These I didn't buy myself, but were in party bags for my children. Checking online they tend to retail for £1.50 for 6. Similar versions but by different supermarkets or non branded or character based ( e.g Charlie and Lola ) are readily available.

        What is it?

        It's a small plastic, slight chunky bottle ( 5.5cm high, 3cm in diameter ) with a screw top lid hat when opened becomes a handle of sorts, as in side the lid is a small wand with a slightly rounded rectangular shaped hole in it, that when dipped into the bottle that contains a liquid can form bubbles when blown.

        The two bottles of bubbles we received were in two different colours-one in piNk, the other in blue. Both lids ( and wands inside ) are white. On the front you have a brightly coloured and striped label on it which has the ' Tesco ' logo in small lettering with huge bold lettering of the word ' party! ' and just underneath it say ' mini bubbles '.

        On the side it mentions this product is not suitable for 0-3 year olds due to theirebeing a choking hazard.

        How easy are they to use?

        Very easy. My four year old as soon as he saw this in his party bag he started to use it straight away. The lid was simple to screw on and off. There was plenty of solution in this bottle for him to keep dipping in and out and create loads of bubbles at his leisure. You don't need instructions, its so simple and easy to use that most children will be able to use it on their own right from the start. If not show them once, and you wont have to show them again.

        In regards to my daughter, I don't feel its suitable for her. As much as she enjoys the bubbles and she has been able to blow her own bubbles by herself, hand and eye co ordination is not as good as her big bro due to age, and I know for a fact solution would either be on the floor or putting that to one side, maybe in her mouth as she is at that particular age. So when it comes to age, above 3 is fine, under 3 be cautious and offer assistance and limited use.

        What do we think?

        This is a non brainer-the kids love these! They are the perfect size to fill party bags as they are quite small and most party bags have only a limited amount of space to fill, and you will fill it up with other stuff as well so you wouldn't want these to be too big. Size also is perfect for small hands and because the bottle itself is quite chunky its easy for them to hold and grip onto.

        The size of the bubbles formed is absolutely perfect, and the solution creates a ridiculous amount of them! You don't want the bubbles too big because size isn't always everything! As long as they are visible, last a decent time period while in mid air and the kids can see them, and you can make plenty of them then that completes the job. They're also not too small where you think ' hang on-did I just see something? '.Definitely best for outdoor use, as my son has used this inside and left a trail of surplus solution on the floor, and also where the bubbles have fallen and hit the floor it has made those areas a touch slippy so you have to be careful.

        I don't know whether this is something that has been done before, but I would love their to be a lightly fragrance bubble mixture as I think it would be so much fun for kids and adults a like. If adding something like that would interfere with the integrity of the solution I don't know, but I would buy it!

        On a parent note, if anyone is like me, I try to buy things when on sale or I simply like the product and I put it down for later use. These are perfect to buy and store away for when you need them whether its for future parties or just general use, as I dont see any shelf life/expiry date on them. Not too big so you can fling them in a draw or cupboard and forget about them and bring out when needed.

        On a negative note, you really do have to make sure that these are sealed properly. My son has been using this and left it on the side, and my little girl has picked it up and opened it because he didn't close it properly. Something like this is designed for children so they have to be easy to open but you do need to keep an eye on the terrors!

        Also, when these were given to my children recently it was on an extremely hot day and I think they were sat in my friends car for awhile. The actual heat heated up the bottle and the solution, as when you touched it it was warm, and the mixture itself also. So please take that on board. If possible, keep them stored in a cool and shaded place.

        Would I buy these myself?

        Yes I would. Great size, nice child friendly look to them and they do exactly what they are supposed to do which is entertain!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Great party bag fillers

        My daughters birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks time, and one of the party favours I purchased was these Tesco Party Mini Bubbles, which come in sets of six for £1.50. Since there were only ten children coming to the party, that left two spare, one of which I gave to my daughter to play with, and one of which I kept to torment the cat.

        These are only small little pots of bubbles - they won't last very long really, but they make a nice item to put in party bags, being a unisex gift that both girls and boys (and cats) enjoy, and that most parents won't get too annoyed by, unlike messy and noisy items.

        The pots come in all different colours - pink and blue, yes, but also yellow and green. They all have white caps which are easy to remove, although very young toddlers may need a little help getting them off, and the blower element is attached to the lid. The liquid is clear, with a slight soapy sheen, and a smell like very dilute washing up liquid.

        You can get lots of bubbles with one blow, and the mixture does seem to be fairly decent - the bubbles don't pop mid air as they do with some cheaper mixes. They fall gently to the floor, where, more often than not, they pop. But they look very pretty floating through the air, and kids have great fun not just blowing them, but trying to jump up and pop them. With the blower part being quite small, you won'y get any really big bubbles out of this though. I also find the blower doesn't reach right to the bottom of the pot, so you end up needing to either tilt the pot (which can be messy and problematic for younger children) or to tip some of the mixture into the cap to dip the wand in.

        Overall, these are nice little pots to have in a gift bag. You won't get huge bubbles, and a pot doesn't last long, but it's something nice for your guests to take home after the party. 4 stars - one off for the wand really not being long enough.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Perfect party bubbles

          ~~~~~~~~~~~
          Birthday bubbles
          ~~~~~~~~~~~
          It was my daughter's birthday towards the end of last year, and I decided to buy some of these small bottles of bubbles for party bags. As we had a few no-shows, I ended up with quite a few spare bubbles, so we have got to use them a lot over the past few months.

          You can buy a pack of six of these small bottles for just £1.50 in Tesco.

          Each of the bottles is a different, bright colour, and the price and look makes them ideal for children's parties - either for party bags or to put on tables (although this could get quite messy!). The plastic bubble blower is attached to the inside of the lid of the bubbles, so it is all quite simple really.

          ~~~~
          POP!
          ~~~~
          I was really impressed with the quality of this bubble mixture. You can get loads of bubbles in one blow and my daughter absolutely loves jumping about popping them. And each blow usually produces enough to keep her busy! An added bonus is that her new baby brother is also fascinated by the bubbles. As this is about the only thing I have found so far that entertains each of them equally, I consider this a very, very good thing. The bubbles are quite small as the blower itself is small, and it is virtually impossible to slowly blow big bubbles with this as it ends up touching the lid and popping. But these are mini bubbles so this isn't a major problem!

          ~~~~~~~
          A bit short
          ~~~~~~~
          My only real complaint about these bubbles is that the blower attached to the underside of the lid is far too short. So once about half of this bubble mixture is used up, I find I have to tilt the bottle carefully to get enough mixture on the blower. This can be a bit tricky, and although I generally manage to do this without spilling the mixture, this will make it trickier for smaller children to blow bubbles.

          ~~~~~~~~
          In summary
          ~~~~~~~~
          Overall these are really good bubbles for the price, but I will knock off a star for the short blower!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            A good priced pack of bubbles

            Before I had my daughter, I used to purchase bottles of bubbles for the children in my class at school as little prizes, and although I never knew what they were personally like to use, the children seemed to love them. Now, that I have my little 9 month old daughter, I wanted to purchase some bubbles for her, not to use herself obviously, but to show her. I obviously didn't want to spend a fortune either in case she wasn't that keen on them, so I looked at the Tesco party stuff to see what they had, and ended up purchasing this pack of 6 Tesco party mini bubbles, which cost me £1.50 at the time.

            This pack contains small bottles of bubbles, all of which are different coloured pots so if you are using them for a party or for party bags, I'm sure the colours will go down well with children.

            To be honest at the small price I paid for a six pack, I wasn't expecting a lot, however when I first opened a pot I was happy with the amount of liquid in each. Each bubble pot comes with a small wand, that some children might find difficult to hold by themselves, but since it was me who was holding the wand for my daughter this wasn't really an issue.

            I wasn't quite sure whether the liquid inside the pot would really deliver in terms of bubbles but I was happily surprised and my daughter watched mesmerized as I blew these bubbles out. The liquid in the pot made quite big bubbles which I was pleased with. My daughter would lose interest after a few puffs through the wand so one bottle has lasted me longer than it probably would last an older child who is blowing them themselves.

            All in all, for the small price for a pack of 6 pots, I think these are very good value. They will last me a while given my daughter only watches for a little while however they would make an ideal party bag item.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              A great set of bubbles for kids!

              In the summer, my family to get together for BBQs and we always need something to keep the kids entertained. For our week of sun in April this year, I popped to Tesco and bought these for around £2, bargain - kids love bubbles! The bottles are all different colours with a blue Tesco label. They have a wand attached to the inside of the lid, which is useful because it means the kids won't drop the wand and lose it or have to fish it out of the bubble solution and end up with sticky fingers.

              The solution is pretty good, I almost always got a fair amount of bubbles every time I dipped in the wand and blew some - and the kids found that they could get a lot of bubbles very easily without having to whinge and wine to the adults every 5 seconds!

              The bottles are a good size, enough to keep blowing bubbles for days but not big enough to make a large mess if the bottle gets spilt! The solution is pretty easy to clean up too, as I discovered when half a bottle got spilt on the carpet - just a damp cloth and a bit of a scrub to get the bubbley liquid out!

              I would definitely recommend these bubbles - hours of fun for kids (and I love them too!) and a great price for a good few bottles of bubbles. Excellent!

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              Cheap and cheerful bubbles

              For the price, these things are quite good. What you get is a pack of 6 little bottles, each a different colour, and they contain some soapy liquid that you can make bubbles out of. The bottle top is easy enough to remove, but importantly it also stays on quite well. I wouldn't bash it around at all, but for general moving and if you knock it over, for example, it's fine.

              Inside the bottle, you get a wand that has a gap in the end of it. The wand dips into the liquid and then when you pull it out, the soapiness clings to the wand and the hole in the end, and you blow through it to create soapy bubbles that then float off and slowly fall to the ground.

              What you do get with this is a lot of cheap fun. If you think about the price being around the £1.50 mark for these bottle, you're essentially paying only 25p per bottle. This makes them ideal for having round the house for a bit of fun, and while my eldest is now 8 years old, he still enjoys little things like this from time to time, as do the rest of us. Cheap fun is great fun.

              What do you don't get is such a consistent quality in the bubble formation. I don't feel there's a need to get picky as the price is so low, and so if you pay hardly any money, then you shouldn't really be surprised at a less soapy and less big bubbly effect with the liquid. It's not that it's rubbish, but it's like doing your washing up with Fairy Liquid and then using Tesco Value stuff for a change. It still kind of works, but it's a lot less effective.

              What we use this for apart from having fun around the house, and this seems to be a very popular choice, is putting them in kids' party bags. Kids love bubbles, fact. Put them in party bags and no matter how cheap they are or how cheap and ineffective the bubbles can sometimes be, they won't care in the slightest, and nor should you. I'm not about to praise these bubbles from the rafters, but you really do get what you pay for, and at 25p for a bottle, this is value for money and still fun. The bottle and components work well, and the liquid is decent enough to make okay bubbles.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                Loads of bubbles for a good price

                For Laurens 4th birthday last year, I made my own party bags, I spotted these in my local Tesco's and they were on offer at the time at £1.50 for 6 x 50ml bottles so picked a few packs up. The bottle normally retail for around £2.

                The bottles are nicely brightly coloured with a white screw top lid and the bottles have a blue label. I like the fact that the wand is attached to the lid so you don't have to stick your fingers into the bottle every time.

                Despite being quite cheap, the bubble solution is of a good quality and blows nice sized bubbles (I hate it when you blow and the bubbles just burst straight away).

                Lauren loves bubbles so since her party, I pick a pack of these up once a month and she loves to play with them, she has now got the hang of blowing them herself although she tends to like me to blow them so she can chase and burst them. I love it when we are all outside blowing bubbles, the garden looks really pretty and (the only member of the family that doesn't like it is the cat who tends to hide under the trampoline!)

                I don't normally let Lauren play with bubbles in the house just in case the mixture gets spilt however because these are quite small bottles, I am not to worries about wiping this up should it get spilt.

                I would recommend these bubbles, they offer excellent value for money, take up little storage space and give hours of fun.

                Overall, 5 out of 5 stars from me.

                Thanks for reading.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  A great bit of fun,really good bubbles

                  we constantly have family members round our house of all ages, and ofcourse we need to have something to keep them amused, or they run wild. My youngest cousin loves bubbles and is happy to just sit in the garden with a pot! We purchased these last year at our local Tesco extra store for £1.50for 6 small pots. they come in the same pack and they are all different colours! We liked the idea of buying small pots as we can just give them to him when he is over and he can do it himself in the garden! I will now go into more details on this product.

                  Packaging:

                  Simple design with multiple bright colours, great for kids and look smart. They are ideal to put in party bags. You take the lid off and they are protected and you get a lovely little wand inside. The pots are tiny and there isnt much liquid inside, but its enough for lots of bubbles. Also they are great to store as they dont take up hardly any space in the cupboard.

                  The Bubbles:

                  these are excellent bubbles and easy to use, they are so much fun and even I enjoy using them. My girlfriend has an obessesion with bubbles! I think blowing bubbles is something you just never grow out of and always find amusing. You can blow some big bubbles with this little pot. the concentration of the bubbles is just right as you can make huge strong bubbles that don't pop instantly. I was really impressed with these and so is the little one! Great fun.

                  Overall:

                  A very simple product and is a good price per pot. Worth getting for parties of just for the little ones this summer. I cant fault these bubbles and there great little pots! I am going to award these 5 stars as they are brilliant. Tesco products are usually brilliant and this falls straight into that category. There isnt too much to say about bubbles! If your in the market for some, go get some in your weekly shop :)

                  Thanks for reading my review on Tesco BUBBLES!!!!

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  Fab, value old school toys - great for parties.

                  Recently I was tasked to help out at my 4 year old nieces birthday party, the thought of such an activity provoked fear in me as I do not have kids and generally tend to be allergic to the little blighters but the ones I know best (niece included) are ok in small doses and I felt obliged so I said I would pick up some bits for potential party games.

                  My local Tesco is one of the HUGE stores with massive homeware and toy sections so I headed straight there and picked up a bunch of stuff including these bubbles. The pack of 6 small bottles was £2 and they were a multitude of bright, neon colours, ideal for enticing small children to play! Each bottle has a plastic lid with a wand attached securely to it, you therefore cannot lose the lid because you will generally have it in your hand attached to the lid - these toy designers really are quite clever huh!?

                  So, the liquid itself smelt very familiar and took me straight back to my childhood, it is, effectively, watered down washing up liquid - but the bonus here is that once you have the containers with the wands you can simply refill them yourself and never have to buy the bubbles again.

                  The containers are pretty small, handy for tiny hands to grip and we only had one spilling accident which was quickly rectified with the above mentioned washing up liquid trick to refill the distraught child's tub back up.

                  The bubbles were pretty good too and I have to admit I did have a go myself for old times sake - it is harder than you might think to blow a bubble the size of your head and requires far more patience than the average 4 year old posesses but it impresses them immensely when you can patiently and gently blow big bubbles and there is something rather satisfying about the feeling when it wobbles off into the air without popping for a while!

                  I have heard of people putting bubbles on the tables at weddings in recent years and if you were going to do this the Tesco version reviewed here would be a cheap way to buy lots.

                  Anyway, advice for anyone organising or helping to organise a kids party is to check out the range at Tesco as it is great value for money and contains all the old favourites like this. I bought a number of items for this party which I will be reviewing over the coming weeks and I have to say everything was pretty good quality and great value for money.

                    Great fun

                    In our family whenever there is a birthday all of the extended family come around with presents so we end up with parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins which means rather alot of people. I bought these bubbles last year for the children to play with whilst they were in our house and to try and prevent them emptying every toy out of every drawer which they usually do.

                    I bought the bubbles from Tesco where they are sold in a pack of four little pots, the pack of four cost me about £1.25 which I thought was great value and if it kept them busy for a while even better. The pots were all different colours and very bright you get blue, green, pink and yellow and I though there may have been a fight over who had what colour but my daughter wanted pink which I could have guarenteed and then my male cousin choose blue and since my other cousin had only just turned 2 she wasn't too fussy.

                    The bottles are only small and hold 50mls of bubble solution, each one has a white screw top lid which has the wand attached to it inside the bottle. The bubbles are meant to be for ages 3 and up but my smallest cousin managed the bubbles and the children were supervised at all times so there was no problems. The bottles are very simple and just have a little label on them that indicates these are a party pack of bubbles but obviously you can use them for what you choose.

                    The bubbles work well and produce good bubbles with ease which kept the children happy, the solution has a slight soapy smell but I didn't find it as strong as the smell bubbles usually have. The children very quickly had competitions for who could make the biggest bubbles and the mixture did produce some beauties, my youngest daughter not even one at the time enjoyed watching the bubbles and seemed in awe of them.

                    These bubbles are great value and are a great distraction but only for a short period of time as if you have a child that can blow the bubbles with ease then the solution doesn't last very long.

                    Bubble entertainment in miniature!

                    We often look after our two nieces while their parents nip out to a doctors appointment and the like and the whole experience of being left can be a little traumatic at times for the little one if for only an hour. A good distraction that we have found is to buy a pack of bubbles from Tesco. Not only do they allow the girls to have a bit of fun out in the garden but they are also an inexpensive and less messy activity than finger painting indoors. Being that our nieces are now at the ages of three and one the youngest is obviously too young to hold a wand and blow through the holes but the oldest likes to blow blows streams of bubbles which the youngest will watch with wide eyes and giggle.

                    ==The Product==

                    These bubbles are packaged in a set of six bottles from Tesco and will usually set you back around the £2 mark unless bought as part of an offer. For your money you get six various coloured bottles which are each quite small in size and fit easily into the hand of my three year old niece but are a little fiddly for my partners adult hands. The lids of the bottles pop off to reveal a small wand which is built into the lid of the bottle. A great feature of these bottles is the built in lid as it saves lots of rooting around in a bubbly mess trying to find the wand.

                    Once open the bottles are around two thirds full with bubble mixture which smells rather similar to that of original washing up liquid. In my experience the small size of the bottles is an added bonus as when the inevitable spill happens inside there is a fairly small amount of liquid to mop up.

                    ==Blowing Bubbles==

                    As with any bubble mix this one should be used by simply dabbing the wand into the bubble mix and blowing gently through the hole of the wand. The wand will produce medium sized bubbles, however when we get into competitions in the garden there is usually a good deal of light blowing to see who can produce the biggest bubble. The mixture produces bubbles well and the mix is easily as good as any more expensive products I have used in the past.

                    Once you get going, the garden will be a sea of bubbles especially if you go the whole hog and open all six bottles in one go. This is a lovely sight for my little niece as the bubbles float their way around the garden creating little bubbles of iridescent light. With time however, they soon being to pop on all available surfaces. I find that whilst these bubbles can be used anywhere we prefer to use them in the garden to save little pools of bubble mix collecting inside although when it's rainy outside they inevitably get opened inside the house.

                    ==My Opinion==

                    In my opinion these are a great way to have fun with our nieces and the great price of the bubble pots means that we are more than happy to buy them for the girls on a weekly visit and leave any unopened ones with them. However, for the amusement of my little niece I can find that I feel like I am forever blowing bubbles to make her laugh, hence the review title. I can see that the size of these bottles would also make them a great little gift at children's parties too. These are a nifty little treat and one that creates a lot of laughs I would therefore highly recommend them to you.

                    This product scores a good four stars out of five from me.

                    Thanks for reading! x

                    Loads of bubbles for not a lot of money

                    I buy Tesco party bubbles quite regularly when I do the grocery shop. They are an inexpensive treat for my son and a bonus is that they also make a great toy for my dog.
                    These bubbles only cost £1.96 for a pack of six. They have been changed to what is shown on dooyoo and are now called out there bubbles but I have been assured by staff that they are the same bubbles just repackaged. It is a shame that they repackaged them as I liked the previous little coloured pots and the new ones are a little duller and come in red pots with coloured lids.

                    The bubbles have a wand attached to the lid which has a small hole in it to blow the bubbles through.
                    The hole is really small and the bubbles that you get aren't the impressive huge ones but for such a small hole it does produce a huge amount of bubbles through it.

                    The bubble liquid is one of the best for producing bubbles and it works so much better than more expensive ones. I have never failed to buy these and have them produce thousands of bubbles. My son loves playing with them and a bonus for me is that the bubble solution doesn't leave a horrible residue everywhere when the bubbles pop. With some bubbles that I have bought him the bubbles pop on the furniture and floor and leave a horrible silicone layer that is really hard to clean up. With these bubbles they just pop and other than a little wetness they pretty much just disappear.

                    Other than my son my dog absolutely loves these bubbles too and has a great time chasing them around the house and garden.
                    You could easily refill these with a water and fairy liquid solution but because they are so cheap I find it easier to just buy new ones especially as the fairy liquid solution just can't compete with the amount of bubbles that these produce.

                    I have also used these bubbles in party bags when my son had a birthday party and all the other kids loved them too.
                    For the money I think these bubbles are fantastic and I would highly recommend them over more expensive brands.

                    ~Party bubble pots from Tesco~
                    ***********************

                    These little pots of bubble making mixture are something that I have bought and used in the past as they come in handy as party bag gifts for childrens parties etc. You can find these bubbles both in store and on line at Tesco.com with them having risen slightly in price over time to just under £2 for 6 reasonably well sized pots. Each bubble pot comes with its own easy to use bubble wand and lid that opens and closes in such as way that makes it fairly easy for children to handle them.

                    ~Using the bubble pots ~
                    *******************

                    The bubble making wand that comes with each pot of bubble mixture is quite slim and can easily be bent out of shape if handled too roughly, although the wand should last long enough for a number of uses should you want to refill the bubble pots after use. The bubble making liquid is not overly thick and can end up dripping down the side of the container at times when in the hands of eager children who are more keen to make bubbles than watch what they are doing with the contents of these pots. There isn't really much you can do in order to avoid a little bit of spillage when using these in my opinion, as you do still end with with a few drips here and there even when being uber careful and using these to make bubbles with. I don't feel that is too much of an issue though as this is something that has happened with most other similar products I have bought and used in the past.

                    The bubble mix in these does seem to be able to last quite well and can be used to make some nice sized bubbles with. I feel that these little bubble making pots are great fun for children of all ages as even older children tend to enjoy making bubbles with them at times. These are something that you can use alongside a younger child to help them have fun with bubbles too, as you can hold the bubble pot and pick up enough of the bubble mix so as to allow a smaller child the chance to hold the bubble wand themselves and then blow through it to make their own bubbles. I found that the bubble mix makes it easy for you to be able to get a good few bubbles each time when using these.

                    ~Product rating~
                    *************

                    These are easy enough to use and can help keep children entertained at parties etc or be used as take home party bag gifts if wanted. The bright coloured pots look simple and fun and the wand being placed in to the top of the lid makes it easy for children to use these without too much supervision. The bubbles don't seem to pop and leave marks anywhere when used indoors and they can be used outside with no worries. These are not the cheapest bubble mixes I have seen nor are they the best, but they do work quite well enough and can be good fun to use, which is why I am giving them a 4 star product rating.
