==Tesco Bubbles With Wand==
Every child loves bubbles and they can literally be the source of many hours of entertainment for them and to be perfectly honest there is something so tranquil and rather therapeutic about the blowing of bubbles and watching them as they sail off on the air that I really quite like to have a bottle to play with myself!
I had had an old bubble bottle and wand for a good while and can't think where we got it but I kept filling it up with water and washing up liquid but I must say that my ratio when mixing it just was never right and the bubbles would just pop before they floated off anywhere. I kept trying and adding more washing up liquid but it really just wasn't happening so I decided on going out and getting a few bottles of the ready made up stuff so Jack and I could blow bubbles together.
Tesco were selling these small bottles of bubbles for a good price of £1.50p. This price is for six bottles but each of the bottles is only small in stature and to be perfectly honest didn't last too long. At around 1 ½ inches per bottle you can easily use all the bubble mixture up inside within one sitting in the garden however I guess this is reflected in the price.
Each bottle is a bright colour of plastic and the white screw cap lid is easy to remove even if the foil cover over the top of the bottle underneath isn't so easy to get off and will more often than not need pushing through with a knife to open it right up. They are not the best bottles to reseal and if you do take the foil seal off inside and then want to replace the cap you can't keep the bottle in any other position than an upright one as it will certainly leek everywhere.
Each of the little plastic pots have a wand inside which is quite small and at first tricky to get out of the pot and then not on the whole comfortable to hold whilst blowing bubbles because of its small size. The round area at the end of the wand where the bubbles comes through was again small and the bubbles that are created again reflect this size and are not great big stonking ones but rather lots of small bubbles which again is something to be expected.
On the whole I find this set of six bubbles okay for the price but I can't say I would buy them again. The only good thing was that because of their small size a whole bottle would more than likely be used up in one sitting and I didn't have to store a leaking bottle of the mixture anywhere. Apart from that though the bottle was small and the wand was too small and I think for general play in the house it would be better to get a slightly larger bottle with a bigger wand inside. I would think for party bags then these would make a nice addition and are well worth the money but for us I think something a little larger is called for next time.
I think a good score of 4 out of 5 stars and a recommendation is well deserved.
I do hope this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
Summary: Would make a nice item for a party bag
