The gun works by inserting two AA Batteries into the battery compartment, and then holding down the trigger to shoot bubbles everywhere. Bubbles come out thick and fast, and you can fill the room with just one dip into the bubble mix! I was very impressed with this right from the word go, as was the grandson who loves his bubbles (don't all kids?).

I'm not entirely sure what a character bubble gun is, but this is the results of my product request so I'm just going to have to assume that this is what our gun is really called! Anyway, it cost only £2 in Tesco last week with 50p off of the original selling price. The gun comes complete with a small but not tiny bottle of bubble mixture, and a little dip tray for dipping the end of the gun into. The end of the gun, while I think of it, is a lot sturdier when you get it out of the packet than you anticipate it's going to be for such a cheap toy.
