My daughter absolutely loves tunnels, and crawling through things, be it behind my mums sofa which has to be pulled away from the wall especially, between peoples legs or even under the coffee table and so naturally at Christmas a play tunnel was top of our list of items to buy.
The Worlds Apart tunnel comes in other colour choices than the picture shown- ours is pink, blue and yellow and the newer version has holes in the sides making it ideal for use with ball pit balls which my daughter also loves. She loves to poke the balls through the holes, or poke out her hands and wave at us.
The tunnel can also be used in conjunction with the pop up tent in the range which we also have. The tunnel is designed to fit into one of the tent openings, and they works very well together and have provided hours of fun.
The tunnel is very easy to pop up and down, folding completely flat and as such is very easy to store, and literally takes seconds to set up again. The tunnel is really well made and designed and excellent quality. I really can see this lasting well and cannot recommend this highly enough. As it is fabric and light in colour however it would really only be suitable for indoor use.
It is widely available - I purchased our tunnel from Amazon for £15 and it is currently for sale for £19.99.
My daughter who is 15 months old absolutely loves her tunnel and will happily play for hours and we often have to take it with us if going to the Grandparents. It works very well with the tent and ball bit balls but keeps her equally amused when used alone.

I bought this for my son in May for his 1st birthday. I paid around £11 for this on Amazon, and this is now one of my sons favourite toys!
It is such a simple and basic toy, but provides hours of fun for my little one and his friends. It is basically just a tunnel to crawl through, and it is blue, yellow and red in colour. It is not a long tunnel, but is a nice length tunnel for my one year old to have fun crawling through. It is 1.2 metres in length, and I think this is big enough for my son. I find it a bit too narrow though for adults to try and crawl through it, it is definitely only big enough for small children, my son has plenty of room to crawl through it and even turn around easily in it.
The tunnel has holes in it which allow you to throw toys in whilst your child is in the tunnel. My son loves me doing this, and has great fun in there when you throw balls in for him to play with. I think this is a nice added extra to have on this tunnel.
This tunnel feels really well made, and it is really lightweight, my son at 14 months old can lift it and move it around the room. It has hardly any weight to it, but it still feels really strong, sturdy and well made. I don't think it would rip or break easily, I think it is quite durable and will last for years. The fabric gets dirty really easily, especially when used outdoors. This tunnel can be used indoors and outdoors, but we just use it indoors now as it gets too dirty out in the garden. It got so dirty one day I thought we were going to have to chuck it, it looked too dirty to ever be let in the house again, but we decided to get the jet washer on it, and it cleaned it up perfectly and looks brand new again!
To open this tunnel, you just pull the velcro straps open, which are strapped around the rings of the tunnel and it just pops up, it is so easy to open, and also easy to pop back down again, so it is really easy to store as it folds up pretty much flat. It is a brilliant idea to be able to pop it up and down like this, as it can easily be put away each night when tidying up, and got out again in seconds the next time you want to use it.
This tunnel is also very popular with my cat, I often find her asleep in it, and playing with it, so I would recommend this as a pet toy not just for children! For the price, this is a brilliant tunnel, its a decent size, it folds away for easy storage and my son plays with it for hours. Highly recommended!
It's amazing how much fun children can have with such a simple product! My grandchildren adore this pop up tunnel and I like it even more because it stores really small!
I bought this tunnel about 2 years ago from Amazon for just over £10 and we haven't been able to use it much as it isn't really ideal for indoors with being so long so it's more of a garden toy but with our weather being really poor it's not a toy we can get out and use regularly.
It's easy to store as it folds in on itself. This involves a bit of a twisty motion and it then secures in place with velcro. I sometimes struggle to do it as it wants to ping back out and quite often does if I don't have a firm grip on it! Once folded it's so compact it's great, it goes into our cupboard really easily. Opening it up again you just take the Velcro off and it pings open into a tunnel, both grandparents and grandchildren can do this! Once it is opened up it's so much bigger! It's just over a metre long, a great length to crawl through without being scary.
It is bright colours and suitable for boys and girls. The grandchildren love it. They crawl in and out of it all day! It's fun because they chase each other and hide in it and there's little peep holes in it too which make it more fun too! It's great for in the garden and although it's really simple it creates lots of fun. It's pretty robust too we haven't had any issues with it ripping or anything despite the children being quite rough with it and rolling it around in the garden.
I think this is great and so easy to set up and put away. It's light so the children can move it around easily.
WHAT IS IT?
A fabric tunnel for playing outside in the summer or indoors in the winter.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
Undo the ties and the tunnel will open all by itself. Children can play by crawling through the tunnel or putting their toys inside it. There are holes along the tunnel and those are good for putting small toys through or plastic balls out of the ball pit. We've got our tunnel right next to their ball pit so that the children can crawl through the tunnel and get straight in with the balls.
WHAT I THINK
This is a very good and simple idea that my daughters like very much even though they are getting a bit too big for the tunnel now. I like that it folds up nearly flat to save space and the ties keep it folded and stop the tunnel from springing open again.
I like the bright colours and the way that the tunnel is wide enough for bigger children to crawl through. I can slide through it but my husband can't, both of my children at 6 and 8 can use the tunnel and they like to play in it with the younger members of the family when they come to visit.
The tunnel is made out of tough canvas and it has not ripped or marked even when they play with it outside in the garden. When it needs cleaning I just pour detergent on it and use the hosepipe but if you do that you have to hold onto the tunnel or weight it down to stop it from moving under the strength of the water from the hose. Ours is still very clean and we have had it for 3 years so they do not hold the dirt like some outdoor fabric toys.
WHAT MY DAUGHTERS THINK
My daughters have always enjoyed playing in this tunnel with their toys and balls. My 6 year old likes to roll round in the garden in the tunnel but it squashes down too easily now she is bigger and doesn't roll so good.
When it was new my daughters used to use it as a place to hide when they were playing hide and seek but the holes cannot be covered up so it is not very good for hiding.
The tunnel is about 4 feet long and costs between £10 and £12.
4 Dooyoo Stars.
Play tunnels are so much fun and my little girl absolutely loves them. We used to play in them when we went to play group and friends houses etc and so on my advice when they asked what toys I thought would be fun for their garden I advised my parents to buy one for their garden for the grandchildren to play with when they came over. This definitely scored them maximum grandparent points and makes the garden a lot of fun.
This tunnel is made from the same material as a tent so when you are inside it you get that tent feeling. Its nice and airy although definitely not for adults, ha ha, I have tried going through it and although I can get through it its a bit claustrophobic, you really need to just haul yourself through and cannot get up on your knees like a little kid can inside as there is no head room for adults so I would definitely leave this one to the kids. It also has some round little holes cut out of it so this gives a bit more airflow through it and also allows kids to look through the holes and wave at you etc or play with this in conjunction with little plastic playbills that you can post through the holes.
As its made from tent material it is very easy to set this tunnel up and pack it away. Thats what my parents really like about this tunnel, that its not a permanent feature in their garden but something they can store easily and discreetly in their garage and then get out when the kids come over. The tunnel folds up just like an accordian and then to secure it you just tie it on either side. Then the tunnel is flat and easy to store. When you want to set the tunnel up you just release these hooks and the tunnel pops up to size. There are bendy plastic hoops inside it that just move back into shape once you open the tunnel and its these that make it into the tunnel shape.
The tunnel is nice and bright and contains lots of different primary colours such as red, blue, green and yellow. It measures (L) 120(W) 42 (D) 42cm. My little girl and her cousins really enjoy crawling through it, its not tall enough for them to stand up inside. I have fun lying down at one end and watching them as they come through and playing peek a boo with them. My nieces are a bit younger than my little girl and its fun to watch them discover this tunnel too. They have been crawling for a while so its fun to watch them crawl up to this and then decide whether they want to go through or not whereas my little girl will run up to it and crawl through extremely fast so she can go again and again. The manufacturers say this is suitable for ages 2 and above but I would say about 1 or 1 and a half is a good age for this tunnel. Priced at around £10 its a great outdoor toy although if you have the room you can play with it inside too.
