My little girl absolutely loves Minnie Mouse and so this year for Christmas (yes, I'm still reviewing toys from Christmas, we got a lot!!) she got a lot of Minnie Mouse themed toys. One of the items we knew we were getting for her was a Minnie Mouse kitchen and we thought it would be really fun to get her this Minnie Mouse Tent/Wendy House in which she could put her kitchen and have her own little house to go into.
This Minnie Mouse tent is made of fabric and is in a rectangular shape of a house. There is a plastic bar across the top of the roof and then either side it has a bendy frame to it all the way around so it just pops up and it's also quite sturdy, my little boy tries to get in but he is not allowed by his sister so he pulls on the round window at the top to try and get in and so far the tent has not ripped or been pulled out of shape which is nice. It actually just sort of bounces back into place. What I like about it is that because it is bendy and made of fabric you can squish it into a space and don't have to worry that ti won't quite fit like you would with a plastic play house. We have this tent under our stairs and it fits just but we needed to squeeze it in there just a bit but now its in its the perfect out of the way place for it.
The design of the tent on the outside is made to look like a shop, Minnie's boutique so there is a window full of Minnie Mouse style shoes and some handbags and Minnie pulling a cute pose like she always does. The tent is very girly looking and has a pink roof and also lots of pretty flowers on it and nice wrapped up parcels that look very exciting. The door of the tent takes up half of the front of the half and is made of fabric. What I like about it is that you can leave it down and just pull it aside to get into the tent or you can roll it up and then attach a velcro strap around it and hook it up so it stays up. This way it makes it easier for your little one to walk in and out of the tent. There is also a round window cut out space at the front of the tent and one at the back. I like this because when my little girl is int here I can peer in and see what she is doing and join in the play. The tent measures : Size: (H)105cm x (W)89cm x (D)70cm and its tall enough for my three year old girl to stand up in. Adults can get inside, trust me, I've done it but there's not much room in there once I am in to do anything else and I have to bend my head to get it.
The tent came with a little fabric shopping bag which is quite cute and is pink and spotty with MM on the front. It also came with a Minnie Mouse headband but I think this is a bit naff actually. It is made of fabric too and has a velcro strap to attach it but it doesn't sit very well on my little girls head and she doesn't really ever play with this bit. That being said I love everything else about this tent and I will often find my little girl and boy happily playing in this tent and it has been a nice addition to our house. The tent costs £19.99 and we got ours from Amazon.
