Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Not stocked in most places, buy online
AF Screen-Clene is a grat product to assist in cleaning TFT and Glass monitors.
I swear by this product to keep my PC monitor and TV squeaky clean, easily removing any signs of finger prints and smears. I use it mostly on the Laptop as the screen is always getting covered with finger prints when opening and closing the lid.
It can be a little costly when you need to keep on purchasing 'special wipes', though in all honesty, I have found kitchen roll to be just as effective. I squirt the monitor in each corner and once in the middle, use one piece of kitchen roll to buff this into the monitor and then another piece to easily polish out the smears. It's easy to use and no effort is required.
I have also tried Tesco's own products but didn't find the results to be as good, so it really depends on how fussy you are.
For something like a TV, you're likely to get away with Tesco's own due to sitting away from the TV, for laptops and monitors I would recommend this product though as you're up close and don't want to be seeing finger marks!
Summary: A great screen cleaner at not such an expensive price

- 22/10/08 Hi Nar2
The product retails at around £4, I'm always sketchy about publishing prices because the chances are someone else will always find it cheaper!
I actually purchase mine from viking direct as it is an item used for business, trade price is around £2.50.
Yep easy on the hands but doesn't smell quite as nice as mr sheen!
I used to use the basic glass cleaner, though this has been proven not to be as effective on LCD monitors. |

How much is this product? Does it have a scent and is it kind to hands when in use? I just use glass cleaner. |
