This cable is a belkin one, which is a company who have been making computer accessories and wireless devices for a number of years and are very well known for it. They are also well know for their good quality and reliable cables and make so many different types there one for whatever you need to do really.

Because this is a VGA cable one end goes in your PC or laptop and the other in the back of your TV. It really a s simple as that. All laptops and pcs being made now have this capability to plug this cable into them and the port is usually a blue one which is longer but a little thinner than a USB port. Some really older pcs might not have the port however anything newer than 5 years should definitely have it.
There are 2 screws on each of the ends which are there to screw into your pc or laptop and then your TV as well. This just ensures that the connection is always there as they sometimes tend to fall out if you don't screw them in however if you don't want to you don't really have to screw them in.
The cables 2 metres long which might not be enough for some people, however they do a range of different lengths so just look out for different ones if you need them.
Because my TV is quite near my laptop on my desk however I only got the 2m cable as if I got one any longer id be left with a load of cable kicking about.

Most TVs don't actually have the capability to plug this into the back of though so your best checking that first and then checking you laptop or pc has the port too. Also then measure the length you'll need before purchasing one as you don't want it to be too short and have to buy another one.
These are great if you've got a TV that goes into it, I play videos off 4OD and DVDs and other things off my laptop straight onto my big TV which comes off better quality than when its played on my laptop so its really a good buy. I also imagine its great for a lot of games though I am yet to use it for that.
