Advantages: Very good reflective properties, and good looks!

Disadvantages: reflection off the gloss housing and a tiny bit of side curl (not too anoying)

A very smart chap this one!, I like the Glossy housing, which has been nicely rounded off. It is not too important that the screen is motorized or not to me, but the main thing with these screens is ability to reflect light effectively. The coating on the panaview is able to achieve 180 degrees of perfectly bright high contrast image. When I walk into the room from the screen's side, I am always impressed by the brightness of colour coming off the side as well as in front. So pretty much an all round good screen. There is the inevitable side curl that you would get with just about all projector screens, but this is minimal with the panaview, and not a let down. The black border is ample size to allow for any slight offset image spilling or out of frame effect, but not too large to look ugly. I bought this mainly for it's looks, but the added motorized system is a another bonus, that I haven't seen repeated much in other screens on the market. As with all remote controls, when not in use, keep it sat on the device it communicates with, obviously the platform is a bit high with this, so I keep it on top of the projector. The only slight draw back might be with the high gloss of the underside of the white housing that reflects quite strongly the top part of a projected image, like a reflection off a lake, but not something to quibble over, as the good looks compensates for that!

Summary: One of the best looking screens, easy to install and good at reflecting all angles.
