I bought a belling db2 because i thought it fitted all of my requirements and it looks like a really nice oven.
I have now had the oven a couple of years and it still looks nice but it has had its fair share of downsides.
Cleaning - its easy to clean and i tend to find that a general wipe does the trick but its very easy to knock the gas burner tops off when cleaning and although they slip back on easily it can be a pain. The upside is that the utensil tray on the hob is fully removable for washing.
The 5 gas hobs are great and make cooking easy, the main fan oven is fantastic - when it works. The right hand smaller oven also good but seems to take ages compared to the fan to heat up.
Main fan oven - I have had problems with the heating element, the fan works but blows cold - expensive to repair.
The door on the main oven is a nightmare, the hinges seem to have a problem so the door drops and the glass drops, its a regular occurance. Again expensive to fix as keep having to pay callout fees for cooker repairs.
The writing / markings on the front of the oven have near enough rubbed off too - doesnt effect the working of the oven but i would have expected them to last a little longer.
The glass doors and steel around them get very hot when on so not good if you have children around.
The main oven has a built in grill which has a tendancy to smoke terribly so i dont use - a separate grill would be much better.
A nice oven when it works properly but personally i'd go for something else.
I have had this cooker for 18months from new and had various problems. The main, and very annoying problem is with the main oven door. The hinge design is overcomplicated and I have had constant problems with it. The door falls off, or does not close properly etc.. I can see what the design tries to achive in the fact that the oven door can be removed for cleaning but using such cheap materials and a bad design has created many problems. I could be wrong however and my cooker is a bad apple but somehow I don't think so. During the first year guarantee the door was (sort of) repaired. It didn't suprise me to find out that an entire new door had to be fitted has the door side hinge was integral. It was OK for a few months but the problem has now started again. Now I'm told that the parts are hard to get!! Overall the cooker looks nice - but that's about it. The materials are cheap and the fit is poor. I would steer clear and spend your hard earned elsewhere.
