... is overall a very good oven. It is extremely fast to heat up, around 5 minutes to reach 180˚C so there s no need to wait before putting food into it (except for baking as the manual explains). Electrolux EOB944C ... the front this oven has a control panel complete with a function selector, clock and electronic programmer, temperature control, indicator light for on / off and temperature indicator light. There is a horizontal oven door handle and a full glass door with maximum visibility. The function selector has 4 settings, off, light, oven and grill. The temparature control operates in a range from 50 to 275 degrees celsius. The cooling fan within the oven keeps the surrounds, control panel and timer cool. My clock / timer no longer works to replace this will cost about £70 from the service centre. I have bought a basic timer instead. if it did work then you could set the t... Electrolux EKC6046 ... bought this oven as we were looking for a good quality mid range double oven to cope with the demands of a 4 child family. This is what we thought: What we like The oven is really stylish with stainless steel carcass and ceramic hob fitting giving a nice contemporary look. The functions were good but simple to use and understand. Cooking with the fan oven is really quick and produced good consistent results. The hotspot on the hob is really useful and has prevented several burns and accidents! On a cleaning front it is easy to clean and its easy to get spare parts which is just as well (see below!) Indesit FI 31 K ... was looking for a cheaper oven to replace our broken oven. I m moving house so wasn t looking to break the bank. Including delivery I paid £162 from Pixmania which I thought was a bargain considering it can cost up to £40 more elsewhere. The oven, although never going to win any style awards, still looks good and is very easy to install. It heats up very quickly and as it is fan assisted, cooks the food evenly and in the times suggested on the packaging of food. It has 2 shelves and a grill tray, which are easy to move and have different levels to set them at. It also has an internal light so you can see what you are cooking without opening the door.
