However, this safety switch has a design fault i think. Once my wife let a saucepan on the hob with a burner on and I was looking for a knife and I accidently tilted the lid (automatically made the gas to cut off), i know its tilted so i put it back and went on my way (the gas has come back but now no ignition so the gas was leaking!!). The Cooker is good and shiney and easy to clean. The Oven has electric light in it which is very useful. The hob has 4 different sizes of burners which is quite useful, and easily taken out for cleaning. The Glass lid can be used as a cover and its useful as an extra place for your food and everything once the cooking is over. The Glass lid has a safety switch , when lowered the gas is automatically cut off. However, this safety switch has a design fault i think. Before Christmas we decided we needed a shiny new cooker to cook Christmas dinner on. I knew I wanted gas because I simply can't get to grips with cooking in an electric cooker, I wanted the grill underneath the hob (as opposed to at eye level) and I wanted different sized burners. Most importantly I wanted a shiny new SILVER cooker to go in my newly decorated kitchen. I looked everywhere.
