Advantages: 3 ovens, 1 warmer and 6 rings to cook on all at once , if you can !

Disadvantages: Cleaning the parts the saucepans sits on .

I love this cooker , my old cooker which was a large chef's oven just died on me out of the blue , so another large oven had to be found very quickly or the family would starve !

We found this at Comet and the deal was quite good as with delivery we paid around £1,000 , not bad for a cooker which has two good size ovens a good size grill and a place to store all your baking tins etc ...........or in other words a plate warming oven , a good idea but tell me this who in today's modern age actually uses a plate warming oven .

The top part is great as it has four rings staring with one that would fit a milk pan and going up to a huge pasta pan in sizes , along with this it also has on the right hand side two oval rings that when turned so that they face longways down will heat up the free griddle supplied with the oven . I've tried this and its OK , not that big but adequate for Sundays breakfast with the normal things thrown on it to cook.

The big middle ring is the wok ring and has two knobs to turn it on , and boy .........oh boy has it got some power , I love cooking Chinese and this ring is just 10 out of 10 for this purpose , so much so that if my son cooks along side of me we fight over who gets this ring and who has to use the next size down , as he's over 6 feet tall and I'm only 5'2 .........he wins!

I'm used to a very large oven especially at Christmas time for the turkey , but in the past two years I've made a great discovery , this is that my family all like breast meat and not legs, wings or the other bits of the bird, so I now buy just a Turkey Crown ( breasts on the bone only ) which makes the oven just the right size, saves me money and the family dont have to worry over who's getting dark meat anymore.
The oven will take a good 16-18 lb Turkey crown easily , and if you then use the other oven for the roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots and anything else you cannot go in a saucepan well your christmas dinner is a doddle.

As for cleaning it , mmmmmm now there's a slight knack to this , the body work is easy as its the normal enamel that ovens are made of and an antibacterial spray on the outside will bring it up a treat , inside I always wipe this down after every cooking session and if then needed I use a good quality oven cleaner and rubber gloves.
The top section of the oven where spills can sit will clean with one of those branded cleaners like flash, Mr Muscles or that other one that the mans always shouting about , but ........this is where it gets silly , if you use kitchen paper on the hob section on which your saucepan's sit it will stick like mad as the metalwork is a rough as a porcupines bottom and drives me mad at times as I forget that paper towels will stick to it and leave white fluffy marks all over this part . so with trial and error I've found only 3 ways of getting this part of the oven really clean and they are as follows;

1: Take them all off and stick them in the dishwasher ..........er, didnt think of that !!!!!

2: Place them in the bath ( yes, bath as a sink isn't big enough) with hot water and 1/2 scoop of automatic washing powder , leave to soak then wash them with one of those brushes for the sink , rise of well with warm water then dry with a tea towel or cloth ( not kitchen roll)
Remember to warn the family that your cleaning the cooker tops or they might think you have gone completely loopy as you appear to be taking a bath with parts of the oven !

3: Use one of those magic fine toweling cleaning cloths you see advertised on TV with a good quality cleaning product , I spray mine then rub them with the cloth which has been dampened with water , this gets most of the burnt stuff off , then just dry with a tea towel or cloth ...........no not kitchen roll or your be back to square one ( says she who on many an occasion has forgotten and done just that )

Summary: A quality oven, worth the money , loads of rooms and cooks superbly.
