... given this cooker by a family member, found it very easy to install and get going, the manual is very easy to follow. The black glass top with the rings under it makes the hob top look cool and it very easy to keep clean. A special hob cleaner is recommended. Creda C361EE ... fantastic oven that is difficult to fault. All hobs heat up very quickly - the solargo definately works and is a must have for any electric oven! The 4 hobs are different sizes, so suitable for all variety of saucepans. The dual hob is brilliant, as it means hardly any heat is wasted- very economical! The top surface is very easy to clean providing the correct cleaning agent is used (to avoid scratching) and cleans like new in a few minutes! The dials are clearly labelled - and the hob on / oven on lights are very useful, so at a glance I can tell if anything is left on. Hotpoint EW62N ... bought one of these to replace a much older cooker unit recently, and what attracted me initially was the ceramic hobs. For those who may not be familiar, these types of oven have a completely flat top which looks like black glass, and the heating elements are underneath the glass. Obviously this makes keeping the hobs clean much easier - and they look quite nifty too. One thing to beware is the temptation to use the flat surface to put things on - don t do it! Hotpoint have always been a good make for ovens, and this model is no exception or let-down. Zanussi ZCE8020AX ... bought this cooker 2 years ago from a local appliance dealer and were very pleased with it. We have an all electric house and previously had an LPG gas cooker, which was fine but i started to get paranoid about having huge gas canisters in the garden! There are your standard 4 halogen hobs, top oven, main oven and grill. Varied settings include defrost and slow cook settings, which we ve never had on a cooker before. The main oven is fan assisted and not too noisy. The hob setting are 1-6. I do think that the hobs take a while to heat up or get water boiling but I don t think this is specific to this cooker but all electric halogen hobs. Its extremely easy to clean...
