Advantages: Quick to heat and offers reduce cooking time or temperature
Disadvantages: Noisy on start up, and pity about the clock / timer
From the front this oven has a control panel complete with a function selector, clock and electronic programmer, temperature control, indicator light for on / off and temperature indicator light.
There is a horizontal oven door handle and a full glass door with maximum visibility.
The function selector has 4 settings, off, light, oven and grill. The temparature control operates in a range from 50 to 275 degrees celsius.
The cooling fan within the oven keeps the surrounds, control panel and timer cool. My clock / timer no longer works to replace this will cost about £70 from the service centre. I have bought a basic timer instead. if it did work then you could set the time of day and use it as a countdown timer when cooking, it would then alarm once the time was complete. Again if this timer worked you could use it to defer the start of cooking to a predetermind time. The loss of this timer affects many functions.
The neon indicator lights are oven on - obviously highlighting when the oven is switched on, and the temperature light which starts off lit and then goes out once the correct temperature is attained.
Within the oven there are 5 shelf runners, the fan, grill elements, and oven light. The oven comes equipped with 2 anti-tip wire shelves which should be fitted with the forms towards the back of the oven and low side up and 1 grill pan complete with 1 grid and 2 handles.
The oven is fan assisted which enables faster pre-heating, the oven is actually at its noisiest at this phase but quietens once temperature is reached. The fan enables lower cooking temperatures on average i hae found this to be about 10 degrees lower. The fan has unifrom heating on all runner levels - meaning that batches of food can be cooked in the oven at the same time.
The oven is electric and has a maximum power of 3200W. The aperture dimensions of the oven are height 580mm, width 540mm and depth 546mm. The unit weight is 32.5kg and the internal volume is 51 litres.
Summary: Good oven, noisy start up and clock stopped working

- 20/05/09 Lots of good detail but how good is it at actual cooking? What about the price? And how easy is to clean out?
