Electrolux EKC6046:
... this product almost a year ago, and paid £700. The quality of cooking is brilliant, I cannot fault it. But the problem seems to be the knob placements, which are at 45deg angle, rather than the conventional 90deg. Although it makes it easier to view, cooking fat seems to accumulate easier all around it. I have had a few oil spillages (though I m a very clean cook), and it has taken the markings off 3 knobs. Electrolux EOB944C ... the front this oven has a control panel complete with a function selector, clock and electronic programmer, temperature control, indicator light for on / off and temperature indicator light. There is a horizontal oven door handle and a full glass door with maximum visibility. The function selector has 4 settings, off, light, oven and grill. The temparature control operates in a range from 50 to 275 degrees celsius. The cooling fan within the oven keeps the surrounds, control panel and timer cool. My clock / timer no longer works to replace this will cost about £70 from the service centre. I have bought a basic timer instead. if it did work then you could set the t... Electrolux EKC6046 ... almost necessary. The knobs were NOT stainless steel and a cheap plastic with a silver coating that started to come off within weeks requiring replacement. The motor for the fan has had to be replaced after the bearings went in the motor. This was after only 18 months of use (and of course out of warrenty). This is really disappointing in an oven that cost over £500 and from a brand like Electrolux I expected a lot better. Call out charges from their service department are almost £60 an hour and then they charge for parts also (which I was then charged more for than I subsequently found myself online so go figure!) Electrolux EOB5610 Ultrafan ... somebody will help me out with this problem. * Here comes Santa * After 2 days a delivery guy came to me and told me that he has something for me, guess what?! A big package was brought into my house, with an envelope that had inside a note: "I hope you ll enjoy this gift, is one of the best ovens I ever had too". So there it was the oven that I looked for it almost 2 months, Electrolux EOB5610, white one. After the guys from Electrolux installed it, in the place of the old one, I could see how nice and shiny is.
