Disadvantages: Terrible company to deal with

Indesit/Hotpoint Service charged me a £110 to fix one nut in my Hotpoint oven when the repair engineer took 20 minutes in the house. They gave me the figure before the work was carried out and claimed that no other service man could carry out such a repair. I felt to obtain a working oven which was making an atrocious noise and sparking I had no alternative but to accept the £110 charge.

BEWARE of being put in this situation. The service centre was very unhelpful and they put me through to five different telephone operatives before cutting me off, when I tried to contact them by telephone

The centre will not justify their prices or give any explanation of how they can charge such an excessive price for fixing just one nut. As an Old age Pensioner on my own I feel I have been very badly treated by this Company.
