I've never been a master chef, so was at first a bit daunted when this arrived. I soon found that my fears where unfounded as it is very easy and simple to use. It's not the most stylish cooker i've ever seen but it does everything it claims to do.
My cooker is white, but i believe this also comes in cream. The knobs are standard and twist dial.
The hobs are black and differ in size and have handy red spot indicators to show when they are hot. This is a handy safety feature as they keep glowing until completely cool. They are also very easy to keep clean compared to a ceramic or steel hobs and a quick wipe round after cooking keeps them looking new. The fan oven took some getting used to at first and i was unsure at getting the cooking times right. It seemed to vary greatly. Having now got used to it, I actually think that food cooks more evenly and I now prefer it too a regular oven. The downside is that the oven is pretty small and this is very inconvenient if your used to using something larger. I would recommend it to someone with a smaller family or someone who prefers simpler cooking. The glass front on the oven door also slides out for easy cleaning.
This cooker also has a 1.75 kw upper grill compartment which needs to be kept open when grilling. This can become a little annoying and a bit obsrtuctive if using the oven or hobs at the same time. The grill comes complete with grill pan which is a decent size and has a detachable handle.
The cooker has been very reliable and i have gained more confidence when using it. It is simple and doesn't have loads of gadgets and mod cons but for simple everyday cooking it suits me fine.
