Advantages: Smart appearance

Disadvantages: No grillpan supplied. Primitive way of lighting.

When I bought this cooker it was to match my new stainless steel kitchen and it replaced a perfectly good cooker (albeit dark blue!). I'd seen it in the showroom but had not looked inside. My own cooker came fully wrapped. Once unwrapped,I realised at once that there was no grillpan, freaked, and rang Indesit. They said no, it was an optional extra at a cost of - as far as I remember - £28! Have you ever heard of a cooker coming without a grillpan? Needless to say, I did not avail myself of this offer and am still scouring boot sales to try and get a grill pan.

The cooker itself works great. There are four different size hotplates which are super efficient. The oven, too, works great although it's a highly dangerous operation to light it. The spark ignition works on the hotplates only; to light the oven you take your life into your hands and plunge into the darkness with a lighted match. Dark ages or what?

To sum up: Space age looks, efficient hotplates and oven. Cannot comment on the grill (integrated at top of oven) as no grill pan supplied. Anyone out there got a grillpan they don't want?
