It's very popular with the caravanners of the world, this scares me a bit, I'll reveal why later. So I opt for the grand because said forum are raving about roast chicken in it. I'm nothing if not consistent. Sunday usually involves a roast chicken, find it the most economical meal of the week. Seems the standard remoska may be a bit of a squeeze. It arrives. Premium Review Remoska Mini Electric Oven: Cooks everything but meringues ! (1095 words)

I am easily led. A discussion on a baking and foodie forum led to the purchase of one of these. How can a forum evoke such a purchase ? Because these aren't cheap. Well here's the justification. Electricity bill last Summer the please pay was three figures that I'm lucky to see on my payslip! I received an energy monitor and became totally anal about what was using what. The biggest culprit ? The fan oven. The amount of kilowatts being used resembled the three figures on the bill. Read a few reviews, found some blogs, saw some amazing food. The selling point was the saving on electric for me. It's a 650w mini oven. That's at least half of my ...  Read the complete review

After reading all the great reviews on Remoska's, and trying hard to save on the electric bills, I bought one of the mini Remoska's. They are the greatest kitchen invention ever! Saving both on money and on cooking time. I'd recommend checking out the Remoska home page ( http://www.hoorayforhomecooking.co.uk/ ) for all the best recipes and do use it to bake your bread in it comes out beautiful! When you cook in a Remoska you get no splashes on the your worktop and unlike a slow cooker you don't have to decide what to make eight hours before you eat. The Tefal pot is easy to clean and even after many washes it still looks like new. Plus ...  Read the complete review

Remoska Mini Electric Oven: Beat the credit crunch and rising energy costs...BUY A REMOS ... (277 words)

I had been wanting a Remoska Cooker for some time and being the bargain hunter Yorkshire man that I am, I scoured the internet auctions in hope of finding a good example. I soon realised that they were selling for nearly the same amount of money that they are sold for at Lakeland Stores. It did not take much convincing for me to redirect my custom to Lakeland. I am so glad that I did, the service is impeccable, the guarantee a class and perhaps world beating phenomenal, the customer service I received being wonderful and restorative for my faith in retailers. I am now confirmed as a happy customer who will return whenever I need to purchase other kitchen items. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Remoska Standard Mini-Oven (486 words)

I have had the Standard Remoska for about three weeks now and would not be without it. My main oven is becoming almost redundant because the Remoska can cook anything that you would normally put in the main oven, under the grill or in the frying pan. The only thing it won't do is boil. It is basically a round pan which sits in a stand; the element is in the lid so all you do is place the food in the pan, put the lid on, switch it on and leave it to cook in the same way and for the same amount of time you would use your main oven or grill. It is not much heavier than a normal largish saucepan; the lid is the heaviest part. It is not a slow cooker so will not ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Remoska Mini Electric Oven: Save the planet and cook great food (1226 words)

What is a Remoska? It is a very clever gadget that works like a cooker using a fraction of the electricity. It looks like a large pan but the clever thing it that it has an electrical element built into the lid which gives off heat so once you put the lid on the base and switch on the whole pan heats up. Because the element is in the lid and not the base it works by radiant heat which means not only can you cook a joint of meat in it - you can also use it to bake cakes, bread and in fact anything else you would cook in a traditional oven. The big advantage is that because you are just heating the pan it works on much less power than a traditional cooker (the standard ...  Read the complete review
