Glapharm Ibuprofen Gel
I bought this a few weeks ago as I have found that Gels like this can help with aches and pains. We always have a tube of Deep Heat in my house and I find that Ibuleve Gel works well when all rubbed in. I spotted this in a discount chemist for the price of £2.09 which was cheaper than any other Gel/Cream that I have used in the past so thought it was worth the try for the price.
This Tube looks just like any other tube. Just a Foil tube which is not too flat and is wider at one side of the tube and narrower when it gets near to the end. This has a little screw top lid which is easy enough to open. The tube is easy enough to squeeze and roll up when the tube gets that bit emptier. The packaging doesn't look all that expensive to be honest but it isn't expensive so that makes sense.
This Gel is for aches and pains. So just things like injuries from sports, sprains, sore backs, Muscle pain and so on. The way this works is that you rub this in and this soaks into the skin and gets to the pain. This Gel is a medium thickness and a little blob of this goes a long way.
You can rub this Gel in every 4 hours to the same area, but I don't tend to use such a product more than once or twice per day and it is more early in the day and last thing at night. I do tend to get the odd aches at the bottom of my back but it isn't a severe pain so I can't comment how this works on really bad pains.
So how do I find this does work for my little aches and pains? I found this to work alright. It didn't seem to work quite as quick for me as the more expensive ones but it did get to work and ease the ache. The Gel took about 5 minutes to dry in and the scent of this is alright.
This seems to be an ok Gel but I don't think this would quite have the clout to deal with bad pains. For me it has done ok so I may pick this up again due to the good price of this.
