Greasy But Good!
Member Name: CheekyCharlie08
Advantages: Makes even madly dry skin feel soft and moisturised
Disadvantages: Too greasy and not all that nice to use
I get mega dry skin sometimes, my skins not sensitive or anything like that and most of the time I get all the moisture I need from body butters and Lush bath bombs! Sometimes though I'll start itching somewhere and then I just KNOW the weather or something has got to my skin. I'll use most own brand Aqueous Cream because it all does the same job and this Lloyds one is just as good as all of them!
It's got a bit of a greasy texture, they all are I know that but this one definately takes a bit longer to rub in and feels heavier for the first few minutes after you put the cream on. I didn't like that when I first started using it, this cream comes in 100g tubes and big 500g tubs and I was glad I just brought the tube because this is definately not the nicest Aqueous Cream to use.... even though none of them are!
The cream is very moisturising and my skin feels good after using it, it doesn't take all that many applications to feel a difference in how moisturised my skin feels. It gets rid of the dry patches quick, as soon as you put a bit on and rub it in you can feel your skin puffing out and feeling smoother. It wouldn't be so good if it wasn't as greasy as it is so when you look at the results it makes the nasty texture of it not feel so bad.
If I start using this as soon as my skin starts getting itchy I can stop the patches going completely dry. When I first brought this Lloyds cream I'd got a mad patch of dry skin on my shoulder, it was doing my head in because the skin was soooooo dry that bits was flaking off it. That's BAD condition so the fact that it got the skin looking smoother more or less from the first time I used the cream shows how good it is. It's just majorly moisturising and doesn't make out like it's anything different, there's no smell to it apart from a bit of a creamy smell and like I said it's not very nice to use...... but that main thing is that when I need something more moisturising than usual then this is brill and for £1.39 for a tube that will last FOREVER I think it's a bit of a bargain as well.
Recommended.... but be warned about how greasy it is!!!
