Rinstead Sugarfree Pastilles

Advantages: taste good, work quite quickly
Disadvantages: none for me
When I have an ulcer, I usually try and buy these Rinstead tablets, though sometimes they can be hard to find and I have no other choice than to buy Bonjella cream. I find that Rinstead tablets get rid of ulcers much quicker and are easier to take than Bonjella cream which in my opinion tastes disgusting.
To take Rinstead you simply allow the tablet to dissolve in your mouth, it takes about 5 minutes usually and doesn't make your ulcer sting like other ulcer treatments such as Bonjella does. You can take these tablets every 2 hours, and it usually takes two or three days to get rid of the ulcer altogether. These tablets are suitable for children aged 12 and up.
These tablets taste quite nice, they do not have a very strong taste to them, but they do remind me of fruity sweets, though they are not that strong of flavour. They are very easy taken and taste much better in my opinion, than Bonjella.
These tablets calm the pain that you get when you have a mouth ulcer and make them much easier to deal with in my opinion, they do not remove the pain completely, but they definitely take the edge away from it.
I found that when I used these tablets that they quickly got rid of the pain of my ulcer, I didn't really find that I needed another one within the 2 hours that you are allowed to take them within, I seem to take theses around every 3-4 hours when I have an ulcer, though when I have a really bad one, I do tend to take them more often.
These tablets are sugar free meaning they can be used by diabetics.
Rinstead tablets come in boxes of 24 and cost around £3.50, which I think is a great price, as it takes much less than a packet usually to get rid of an ulcer in my mouth, so I get a lot of use out of a packet.
Overall I think that these are great little tablets to get rid of mouth ulcers, they are sugar free, so diabetics can use them and they get to work quite quickly and taste much nicer than Bonjella in my opinion. Overall I would give these 5 out of 5 stars.
