When I was pregnant carrying my first baby in 2007 it wasn't long before I needed to get myself measured for a maternity bra. I didn't really know where to go to get maternity bras apart from Marks and Spencers. So off I went and came home with my first maternity bra. The lady doing the bra fitting told me that it is better to not wear bras that have under wires in them during pregnancy. Maternity bras do not contain under wires and are elasticated instead. Towards the end of the pregnancy I bought some more maternity bras from Mothercare which were quite nice. I am now pregnant again and I have lasted until 24 weeks without having to get measured again. At the weekend . Read the complete review

Maternity bras were something i didnt realy think anything about during my pregnancy but soon realised why i needed one after she was born. Maternity bras dont have any wires in them and are supportive using elastic instead which makes them a lot more comfortable for the first week than an underwired bra but if you are not going to breast feed i would just buy a sports bra as these are cheaper as my maternity bras cost me £20 each from mothercare. If you intend to breast feed these are a must have as they have a clip on the bottom of the sholder strap to allow you to un clip the material of the cup of the bras from one bust to feed baby without ...
