sianie2000 Your Baby and Sleep in general: ... don t know if I ve just been lucky or if it was down to any of the following techniques which we used, but my little boy started to sleep through the night after he was 6 weeks old. If any of the following suggestions can help anyone from having more sleepless nights than necessary then I ll be a happy girl. 1: Get blackout blinds - as soon as the sun started to rise my little one would wake up - fool them into t...

Siamese Miscarriage in general
... in general This is the first time that I have reviewed something so personal, and I would like to explain that this is just my perception. I absolutely believe that everyone is different, and my feelings are not neccessarily those shared by others. I have lost 2 babies. This happened 6 and 7 years ago. The first time that I discovered I was pregnant, I was quite nervous as we had not planned a baby at that time. However, after a few days, the nerves changed to excitement and I began to look forward to being a family. I was at work when the bleeding started and obviously I panicked. I rushed to my doctor who told me that there was very little I could do...

sttb1997 Reusable Nappies in General
... I had my first son I really wanted to use reusable nappies but didn t have the guts. Why? Because when you think of reusable nappies what comes to mind - terry towelling squares, nappy pins, plastic knickers, soaking.....I gave up before I really looked into it. When I was pregnant with my second son I decided to really investigate the subject and was pleasantly surprised. Things have moved on a lot from the old nappy systems and all for the better. They are now easier, prettier and faster to use than ever before. So, what types of nappies are there? There are 3 main types of nappies. Pockets, 2 parters (or fitteds) and all in ones (AIO s). Pockets These ...

emuk00 Breastfeeding in General
... really wanted to give my baby the best start in life so , I knew when I was pregnant I wanted to breastfeed. I knew the benefits of breastfeeding, the fact it didn t cost anything to breastfeed and no faffing about with bottles and sterilisers.....but it ended there. After a heavy blood loss, (and something I didn t know then but know now) I didn t realise it could affect me and breastfeeding, but we gave it a good try. After giving birth my daughter latched on straight away, I thought fantastic, we have nailed it , but throughout the night I couldn t get out of the bed to lift her out of her cot, and didn t buzz for the midwives, thats where I went wrong. By the mor...
