Advantages: Being able to hear when your baby is crying

Disadvantages: none that I have found

When we learned that we were expecting our first child we wrote a list of all the things we thought that we would need. Top of the list was a baby monitor !! The onley trouble is that there are so many to choose from on the market. As it turned out my friend gave us her old analogue baby monitor. When my son was born we used it for a while but found that the interfearance was so bad that we could hardly hear when our baby was crying. So we ditched this old fashioned monitor for a more modern digital one. We got the best from the selection available in Boots at the time, which happened to be a BT baby monitor. It was priced at around £79.99 which is expensive but we had some gift vouchers so didn't mind as much. It has been such a great investement. You can talk to baby through it and play songs through it from the part you have downstairs. Which is great. The unit you have also has a belt clip which has been really useful. We have had no problems with it and would recommend it to anyone.
