Waste of money - normal towels will do (Baby Towels in General)

Disadvantages: waste of money, small, don't absorb much

The babies look so cute in them but only for a month or 2 for as they reach beyond 3 months they barely cover them let alone absorb much water. I have to sat I wasn't impressed with them at all.

There are so many styles to choose from, towels with characher hoods & ears, plain coloured towel with hoods, over the head towels and more. They aren't cheap either.

When I had son no 1, I was given a few "cuddle robes" as they were called, as pressents. My son looked so cute in them when he came out his bath. He wasn't a particularly big baby but after 2-3 months they towels barely covered him and they didn't absorb much moisture. I instead opted for the adult sized towels which absorbed more and were cosy. It didn't matter whether he had that hood over his head. His hair was so short and there wasn't much so a quick rub with the towel and it was dry.
With son no 2, I just used normal towels straight away. Just because the cuddle robes are for babies doesn't mean that you have to have them. Normal towels are ok too!

Summary: Waste of money - normal towels will do
